I don't believe this is targeted- I signed up for this in November of last year and never got paid out. I called Westpac and was redirected to a different branch 5 times as no one had any clue what I was enquiring about. There doesn't seem to be any staff on Westpac's end that deals with this rewards system. It seems to be completely automated. So if you don't get paid out automatically, there's no one to call to complain to.

That being said, AGL is offering 56% off (might be 50% off) your water bill for a year for switching for customers in Perth. That alone made it worth it.

    • Same here happen to us and I tried from AGL end kept looping around, passing around different areas and we never got egiftcard, you might get better return on agl goodguys as you know almost instantly however for that promo you only get goodguys giftcards

  • how can $100 gift card be better than the other deal which is $200 gift cards bonus?

    • Yes agree. Don’t get it.

      • With the other deal, it doesn't confirm the $75 credit for gas and electricity.

        So this is 100+75+75= 250$

        Vs

        100+100 = 200$ tgg credit.

If tgg credit plus$150 in credits exist, then yes the other deal is much better

  • Don't switch to AGL

    • Why?

Real bad customer service. I was trying to make them to actually read my meter for months, no. They charged "estimate", which was unreal. Moved to Origin.

        • I am in QLD. The retailers do not read the meters here. It is the network operator (Energex or Allgas) who read the meter and send the numbers to retailers who then charge you according to your rate plan.

          • @catbin: NSW. Origin took some time too, but they corrected it in a week. AGL did not even bother.

      • you can read the meter youself and upload it to their website

  • It's there a link or it's through the app/offers?

I checked and couldn't find it
