[VIC, RACV] Switch & Stay for 3 Months, Get $150 Bill Credit for Electricity & $150 Bill Credit for Gas @ Arcline by RACV

70

The offer is up to $300 bill credit ($150 electricity + $150 gas).

Please check how the rates compare to your current provider but in my case they were on par with my old provider and with the added credit pushed it over the line to make it worthwhile.

The main offer is stackable with $50 referral bonus. The referral credit will be applied at the next bill.

  • Will the credit on existing provider be transferred to the new provider?

I don't know your specific situation, but I would think if you have bill credit at your current power provider that would be just with them. You can call the customer support line to explain your situation to them and they could provide a more detailed answer

  • Is this Offer available if I’ve held an account with them in the last 6 months?

    • -1

The credit is available for customers signing up to a new account OR adding a new type of account e.g Gas if you only have electricity with them.

  • is there an ev plan? I'm paying 8cents with ovo a khw midnight to 6am and that's when I use most of my power consumption.

    • The plan available online is a fixed rate plan. You could call to see if there is anything else available suitable for your needs.

  • can we churn? who should i change out then change back to racv

    • I asked the same question and OP's response was - "The credit is available for customers signing up to a new account OR adding a new type of account e.g Gas if you only have electricity with them."

    • AGL had a $150 signing bonus recently that may be ongoing but I guess taking advantage of that might deal you out of this Arcline bonus

  • Often 2nd guess churning, mostly that the bonus offer retailers rates aren't as good as others (so the sign up credit gets eaten up somewhat), but also that it triggers a credit check each time we roll it over..

  • The gas rates are really bad, but maybe worth a temporary churn.

The electricity rates are excellent, literally the cheapest available for me going by the VIC govt comparison site (mainly because I use very little electricity and the supply charge is far less than most providers).

I would need to pick up an RACV membershp though, but the Bike Assist at $47/year isn't too bad (and might actually be useful). The RACV discounts on gift cards could be handy too, if my neverending free membership with NRMA somehow fails me.
