Pretty sharp deal @ just over 25% off RRP, I cant recall having seen it cheaper. TRU have sales on a lot of Lego sets at the moment but this was the pick of the bunch for me.

This set is also on the list of expected RRP increases for Lego over the next couple of months (and has already gone up 20% in USA. source: https://jaysbrickblog.com/news/partial-list-of-lego-sets-inc…).

Note that any RRP increases for AU are still speculative based on international info at the moment, and may not eventuate here or may vary in amount from overseas markets. Still a solid deal either way.

    It was $112 at ShopForMe just last week. (30% off). But sold out. Other than that these seem to not sell too quickly so I wouldn't be surprised if we see 30% off again soon.

    But you have a good point about price rises. If RRP goes up, hard to say when it will be back to $120 or less.

        Mind you at ShopForMe it was probably under the threshold for free shipping so, if TRU is actually free shipping you might as well grab it from them.

          Yeah looks like their free shipping is $200+, I pulled the trigger on this deal late last night, more than happy with it at this price.

    Lego put out so much crap these days that sales on these types of sets is inevitable.

    Now if they released all those golden era sets, like they are with the Lion Knights Castle, people would be all over them.

    Not a fan of the dual colours, just means you're buying bricks you won't use. Would have preferred a discount and single colour (red!).

      Gotta wonder how much of a difference it wouldve made. I've been trying to figure out how I can try and MOC it into sunburst, then it would match my player series Stratocaster. Might be a bit difficult to emulate though!

      It does feel like a mis-step in the design. Either include another full instrument and increase the price, or remove those parts and reduce the price.

      I had to do nothing, was free shipping on the product page, no shipping charge when I added to cart/checked out and im in regional viic. Do you have anything else in your cart?
