My personal opinion - 2-axis gimbal is waste of money, 3-axis gimbal not very portable or useful…
Have a 2-axis smartphone gimbal from Zhiyun, not able to properly dampen vibrations and compensate shakes, pretty useless especially while walking.
Think twice of your use case before buying any gimbal, might probably never use it since unlikely you take it everywhere you go. Modern smartphones have good software vibration reduction anyway, or can always stabilize in post. If you already have a selfie stick, learn a few holding tricks and may get very good results.
I got the Nano SE for $9 from officeworks clearance thinking it was just a selfie stick, it turns out to be a gimbal but it just maintain horizontal balance, not vertical.
Anyone wanting to buy a gimbal should go for Nano Mini-MX at least, as this Nano SE is just like a selfie stick toy with remote.yeah Mini-MX is better, but agree that you are not going to take it anywhere.
you cannot put it in a bag because the arm is easily damaged, so you need a proper box.
once you add the box it will be a bulky item that you would never take it out.
GO TO eBay. Cheaper.
