The discount is not much, only $100. However, Fitbit Smartwatch might be a good bonus to consider.
Telstra ID required to purchase. Existing customers can buy outright without adding a plan.

Can get the smartwatch thru BingLee eBay right now for $260.
I had purchased Pixel 6 on similar Fitbit sense promo around Feb.
Just wish to warn that I had to chase hard to get the watch. Telstra didn't help much. I had fight with marketing company (which is UK based) who runs this watch promotion. It took so many emails and phone calls. I called had to get Google involved.
That's interesting; wouldn't it be Telstra responsibility to provide you with the chasing? consider it's their promo
Like I said, they didn't do much. They were not even aware of the promo. There was no history of the promo at their end after 2 months.
I had to show the Ozbargain thread and show my email comms with marketing company to prove that Telstra had such a promo on when I purchased the phone.
Physical store wanted me to deal the their chat online and vice versa. It was a massive struggle.
Finally, I threatened with the ACCC complaint and they had to acknowledge the issue.
Wow, that is really poor, I guess the message is to keep record of the ad page to cover all bases
The cost of this phone is still too high. When's it going to drop to 800 or so.
Lots of complaints regarding battery life, and it seems the hyped Google Tensor cpu is just a modified Samsung Exynos
Yep, this is the most expensive phone I’ve purchased and outside of it being great for photos, everything else is underwhelming.
Battery life is fine, constant call drop outs are not.
That's a shame, they hyped up cameras and AI stuff, but neglected basic functionality.
The watch has been as low as $250
