If you have missed the Prime day deal for Echo Gen 2 Show 8 for $99, you could still get it for a 50 cents dearer price which is $99.50 at Bunnings. However, it is on special order. Once purchased, you will need to pick up from your nominated store within a week or two depending on your state. Both Charcoal and Glacier White are available. Currently it is $149 on amazon AU.

    Camera is a lot better. It also follows you around (by zooming in and out).

  The camera is much better. Has better resolution and can use the extra resolution to crop in to allow zoom and pan to track the speaker. Works quite well.
