Agree with above, not a bargain as Australian Seniors offer it free

    • cool, let me ask my grandparents

  • Moderators, need to raise the bar in terms of what a 'deal' is otherwise people will keep unsubscribing due to spam.

    • Moderators do not judge whether a deal is good or bad because we leave that to our users to decide by way of deal votes. Please cast your deal vote, give a reason and help your fellow users.

      • I understand pov, trying to be impartial etc.

But people get emailed/spammed these so called "deals" individually depending on their settings.

Clearly, users should not be expected to judge every advertisement, and there should be some onus on the OP to demonstrate where the 'deal' is, although others of course could disagree in the comments. Not looking to increase your workload per se.

BTW, second time I have been spammed by OP now, despite his first post being judged NOT a deal by the community.

It is a discounted offer as the original price was $79 for one Will and $129 for couples, so the price has been recently reduced to help ordinary Australians ease the increasing cost of living expenses. It's a good offer for a legal will, a good price compared to others of the same standard

  • Can I pay in Apple gift cards instead?

  • Trying to sell something online that's available for free online elsewhere…… I like the hustle lol
I could understand if the fee includes a 1 on 1 with an actual lawyer but you're essentially selling a similar kit to Australian Seniors

  • From their website (About Page):
"Start saving money in legal fees today. Quick Laws always wants you to be happy! "

So why are they charging for something that is available for free?

    • I’m not happy :/

Quick Laws always wants you to be happy!

    • "Start saving money" overstatement of the year

  • Estate of Peter Geoffrey Brock; Chambers v Dowker & Anor; Dowker & Anor v Chambers & Ors [2007] VSC 415 (24 October 2007) start your engines!

What did they do here for 9 minutes ?

  • It is a discounted offer as the original price was $79 for one Will and $129 for couples, so the price has been recently reduced to help ordinary Australians ease the increasing cost of living expenses. There are lots of different options available to make your will, such as a lawyer which may charge many hundreds of dollars. The free versions may not be made by an Australian lawyer admitted to practise. Those are the options we provide and yes of course we always want our customers to be happy!

      or, they may…

    • "we always want our customers to be happy!"
      OZB has spoken.
So will you be offering free will kits? I am guessing not.

  • For those so interested, I am a Lawyer admitted to practise in the Supreme Court of NSW. However, I stopped practising after noticing the high fees Law firms may charge for simple legal documents. I realised there were many simple legal matters that were capable of being handled by the person making the document and by developments in technology. So I stopped practising and built Quick Laws. Quick Laws aims to use technology to assist people with simple legal matters thereby saving anywhere from hundreds to thousands of dollars in legal fees. I am still a Solicitor admitted to practise and my name is on the roll of Australian Lawyers, however I do not have a current practising certificate. I hope that explains all your questions and I am happy to answer any questions directed towards my website at https://www.quicklaws.com.au
