Just be aware this product only makes cars with existing wired CarPlay gain wireless CarPlay capabilities. It won’t turn a car that doesn’t have CarPlay into a car that does. You’ll need a proper head unit conversion for that.

Got one of these and it works great with the factory CarPlay in my LC300. Used it for a whole trip from Melbourne to Adelaide and back and didn’t drop connection once.

As above, can be had for far less though so don’t go for this deal, grab on Amazon.

  • Has anyone used this before?

    • See my comment above.

    • works well for me, check that your car is compatible as some vehicle may have connectivity issues. Sometime there is a lag in re-connecting but eventually connects

AAwireless is cheaper and better supported apparently

Isn’t that for Android Auto only?

        Yep, apparently I can't read

It gives you coaching on how to be a better person from Bono as you drive.

  • cheaper through amazon

I have one in my Mazda CX-8 - disconnected and collecting dust. The lag and additional bugs frustrated me too much. When I have time I'll try a firmware update in case things improve but I'm not optimistic.

  • Same store cheaper on AliExpress. But not even worth it because they have even cheaper options from other sellers with the same or a different design.

  • How does the phone connect to this device? Do you have to have your phone's hotspot running all the time or does it connect via Bluetooth?

  • One feature to look for is multiple profile management. How easy to choose which phone to connect when 2 phones are exist at the same time (husband/wife etc). Which is almost everyday issue for us as car is in the garage and our phones will be in the range regardless of us being in the car or not. I have done gone through these products 5-6 months ago but I cannot remember which ones were easy to use.

  • Just paid $79 on prime day

    • Srill same price for $79

  • Bought the Motorola MA1, more expensive, better reviews. have been using it for two weeks, not missed a beat.

    • ….and only for Android Auto, so not a competitor to this.
