Hmmm, without the original price, it's hard to tell how 'special' these specials are…

    • the website only gives you the savings, which is poor design imo

    • Yeah, nothing against the OP… but this is one load of sh*t from woolies.

      • Classic reply - made me laugh.

    • Probably because it's a national offer and prices vary state to state.

What is with new posters? it will get voted the same no matter who the poster is, that is the nature of ozbargain… I've seen some mods posts voted down completely, so what?

    • OK, I get it. Just announcing myself.

None of this is stuff you'd buy for a 0-12mth old, apart from the Farex.

High-fat/salt/additive/random offle-containing sausages & burger patties? Chips & Popcorn? What parents are they targeting this at? Babies aren't meant to eat nut's till their old enough to be classified as toddlers & have enough teeth to handle them.

What they need to be putting on sale as standard stock for their parent customers:

    • Johnson's baby wipes (alcohol/soap/scent-free)
    • Huggies pull-up nappies
    • BabyLove breathable extra absorbent side-tag nappies
    • Generic nappy bags
    • Raffertys Garden selection of fruit pouches, dinner pouches, crackers and rest of low-salt/sugar/lactose-free range.
    • Jalna yoghurt range (Full Cream, full fat)
    • Farex cereal/porridge
    • Dermaveen alcohol/soap-free body wash & shampoo
    • Generic plastic spoons/forks
    • Generic plastic & cotton bibs
    • Generic drink tumbler
    • Generic full body / half body, cotton long sleeve onesie's with popper studs in the crotch
    • Generic Pawpaw cream
    • It's baby and toddler club. My mistake. Nice list. Agree with your list - you have good taste.

    • Actually @infinite, the Mini Macro chipolatas, mini burgers & mini meatballs don't have all the high-fat/salt/additives/etc like the regular stock of Woolworths, nor do they have any spices or bloody chilli added to them like the "Regular Beef Sausages" that Woolies sell!! They're just plain, which is why I like them, & I think they're good for kids.
Take into consideration this club is called a Baby & Toddler Club, & toddlers generally range up to about 4 years old, I'd certainly want some of these specials for a 3-4 year old!!! (& I wouldn't want Pawpaw cream….& Johnson's No More Tears stays on the list for years!!)

  • Thanks Op, but Inf's right i wish they'd had the original prices.
TYheir hoembrnad nappies are great, better & cheaper then the Aldi ones.
The 4-9kg ons ($10) protect from monster #3's, where as the Aldi 4-8kg struggle (this is for a 5kg bub).
