      Better performance on paper. Day to day doesn't really make a noticeable difference. For $34 extra, I thought "eh why not".

      SN850 does not have the encryption, if that is important and I believe these Gen 4 SSDs get hot on full load, might be worthy to look into the gen3 ones for laptops.
