  • need tissue box but none at coles?
    buy this
get a small box from one of the amazon cardboard ex packaging, slice a small hole on top and voila, tissue box

    • +36

Sounds dumb enough to be on tiktok

    • Funny you mentioned that. In Thailand, many of the roadside stalls use this as serviettes.

      • +2

        Not just Thailand.

    • +2

Very common practice in south east asia

    • I just got a box of tissue for $39 at coles

    • +1

I just use an old sock

      • +1

        I got it.

        Nobody else did.

    • Goto Woolies … they have 2 per customer limit. Coles is worst managed super market.

    • 5 min crafts?

    • Tissues? Thats like using disposable batteries. Hankys are eneloops.

  • Thanks bro. Got some.

  • What does NO INNER PACKS mean in title?

    • +6

These are 48 loose rolls, compared to the 45 packs which are 9 x 5 packs within.

It does mean less plastic though with these.

      • thank you

      • That's what I thought and that would be great, there used to be so much excess plastic.

      • mmmmm, 5 packs of fresher toilet paper.

    • +1

It's all in one package, not packed into 4s/6s/8s inside the 48

    • Yes it's $11

      • -5

        31c per roll (coles)
        41c per roll (amazon)

        • maths isn't your strong suit
          55 cents a roll coles
          41 cents a roll amazon

      • +1

        Isn't a 48 pack for 22 dollars a better deal than a 20 pack for 11?

    • +1

That's only 20 rolls, so Coles is more expensive per roll at $0.55/roll. This Amazon deal is $0.41/roll after sub & save.

      "$0.31 per 100Ea" isn't the per roll price. $11 for 20 rolls is $0.55 roll (11÷ 20 = 0.55)

      • lol, guess so. It said 31c on coles website though :/

        • +1

          Coles website says:

          $0.31 per 100Ea

That is the price per 100 sheets, not a roll, there are 180 sheets in a roll.

I once offered a woman some toilet paper for her runny nose and she rejected it.

    • +13

      Was it used?

      • +3

Removed from original packaging and had squares removed from the body of roll? Yes.

Had the squares I offered her been used to wipe away human waste? No.

        • +5

          Username suspect 🤔

    • +3

Apparently a lot of people are like that. They are horrified at using toilet paper for nose, even if from a freshly opened pack. People are stupid.
Not sure if this relates to toilet-paper panic buying.

    • i don't know what her actual reason was, but personally, i don't use toilet paper when i have a runny nose because it disintegrates faster than facial tissues when it comes in contact with liquid (hence why you don't flush tissues down the toilet, only tp). also, the squares are annoyingly too small to deal with the mess when blowing your nose.

  • Mine went through as $14.80 delivered with Prime and subscribe and save (“promotion applied -$7.20”) but I don’t know what the promotion was… cheap, I’ll take it. If I changed the quantity to 2, price went up a bit per pack, so dunno.

    • +6

did you buy the $75 gc? which came with a $5 promo credit

      • Oh yeah I did. I did stop it from using my gift card balance but you’re probably right, would make sense on top of the S&S, good shout 👍

        • It's the $5 credit

  • -3

Hold it for one day. Crap paper will be cheaper on prime day!

    • I got crap paper from Amazon about 6 months ago, unbelievable deal and still not through it all yet. It actually is somewhat decent and soft, just the rolls are a little smaller than normal. I think the brand is cottonsoft.

      • Buy now, wipe later

    OOS now

  • Oos

  • Noooooooooooooooooo!

    • back to used newspapers….

    • If you're desperate they have the more expensive gold still in stock, about $1 cheaper, but only a 30 pack. If you're just disappointed because you wanted cheap shit tickets it's the normal price and they restock pretty regularly on this and the 45 pack.

  • Quick buy more before you shit all over the floor!

  • snoozed.

  • +5

    Back in stock

    • thx mate got some.

  • +1

    go go go go

  • just bought one, still stock

  • thanks op, back in stock and grabbed one.
was hoping to hold out till prime day in case of sale, but this will do!

  • We need good deals on tissue boxes

  • +2

Hardly see Quilton on the shelves at supermarkets (apart from the fancier varieties) and Aldi have hardly stocked their Quilton-supplied Confidence line for months on end, but seems always available on Amazon. Last time I bought the 45 pack variety the quality was wildly inconsistent and noticed their reviews on Product Review are also scathing.

  • thanks! we were running low, almost had to resort to 2-ply. crisis averted!

  • Grabbed one, thanks OP.

  • -2

    this paper hurt my hole!!!!!!

  • It's gone up a dollar on subscribe and save. 3 weeks ago it was $18.90.

    • +1

i think that was for the 45 pack. i was about to order then

  • +3

Anyone compared this to Kirkland TP? On cost and quality? I'm pretty well stocked thx to my last Costco run but would be good to know for future.

    • Kirkland compares to Quilton double length. I switch between them but prefer Kirkland.

  • +1

Thank you, OP from the bottom!

  • Shit I was down to my last 30 rolls thanks grabbed another

  • Is there still TP at supermarkets? My woolies app is showing sold out at my local. The 24 pack at woolies is only a bit more expensive, but takes up way less space.

    • There is but much more Sorbent, Kleenex and other brands like iCare compared to Quilton.

  • Great timing! I was down to 3 rolls.

    Thank you!

    • +2

Thanks for sharing your toilet inventory stats!

  • Thanks OP

  • OOS…damn

  • Price changed. now at $32

  • Literally had it in my cart & then goooone

  • Gawn

  • got this last month same price, kept the S&S active and in another 2 months will have TP sorted probably for the year

  • damn missed out by 4hours

  • Do these come in smaller packs or are there 48 rolls bundled together?

The 45 pack on Amazon is great because it includes 5x 9-packs. Easy to pull out of storage to put near the dunny.

    • +2

it says "no inners (sic) packs", so i assume they're all loose in there

      • Good eye, cheers.

  • Back in stock (thanks to "I Smell Pennies")

  • Got one. Thanks!

  • Back in stock fam! got one!

got a smaller pack from coles earlier this wk for $11 (20 rolls). This amazon deal is better.

  • Looks OOS

  • OOS?

  • +6

    Back in stock

  • +1

OMG so excited it's back - ordered two!

  • Aldi is cheaper, 22 cents per 100 for the 24 pk

    • +2

Not when you pay with discounted gift cards from Amazon.

      • Thanks, didn't take that isn't account. I'll buy one

        • Too late OOS
