[NSW] Mirabella Genio Wi-Fi Dimmable B22 Bulbs - $4 @ Bunnings Greenacre

190

They had plenty of these in a clearance cage . Some of them are basic B22 white bulbs that are only single colours but they also had more fancy looking bulbs that could colour change on the shelving beside it. They had a box of wifi bulbs under the shelf too.

At Bunnings Greenacre near the light section.

Seems cheap for wifi bulbs?

    Store specific I'm guessing :(

    • They appear to be $10 at my local store.

I got some wiz and arlec smart bulbs at my local store for around this price, but didn't post due to store specific and I cleaned them out. the wiz were colour changing and dimmable which is a nice touch.

Warm white and B22, fantastic!! But Greenacre, over 1,000km away from where I live, damn it!!
Has anyone tried to price match one of these store specific Bunnings specials
by showing the deal such as this one with this photo at their local Bunnings store??

  • Bunnings Belconnen (ACT) we’re clearing out a bunch of bulbs too yesterday; no smart bulbs I saw but packs of 6x Downlights for 50c, 2x led bayonet for $1, etc

for those wondering, with HA, these work nicely with LocalTuya, which now handles the local key

  • I have to admit I struggled to get these to connect to my wifi. And even after many tries when it finally did it was flakey. Anecdotal at best but it was a very different (but granted, much cheaper) experience than Hue.

  • Very clunky software, but work well once you get it all connected.

It can listen to the beat of music and change colour, fading etc…. great for a kids bedroom.

Just pop the app on their iPad and they can customise it as they see fit.

It also has other features in the app like auto timers etc… but never used those.

    For $4, definitely worth it.

  • Can't for the life of me get these to work with my telstra smart modem. Tried splitting the wifi into spectate 5ghz and 2.4ghz signals.

beware! these are absolute junk! i bought a couple on clearance from woolworths. i tried a couple and they all randomly turn on only very dimly and flicker

apparently have esp-01 controllers in them which is good. someone was suggesting they have bad capacitors in them. who knows. but they don't work reliably.
