Would have been useful in my marriage, take a number!
    (Complaint department)

  • +2

I would buy one just so I can get high and pull the tickets out one by one.

"The numbers… they keep going UP… heh heh heh heh…"

    • +1

      Nope.

Because at some stage you're going to get the idea that number XYZ means something TERRIBLE will happen, but you just. Can't. Stop. Pulling. Tickets.

      😂

  • +8

why am i holding myself back from buying this

    • +3

Stop fooling yourself, you have a 101 uses for this ticket dispenser and you know it.

  • +7

I see these at Coles deli all the time.

No one ever grabs a ticket and just lines up randomly.

The Coles staff dont even call out the numbers either.

    • +8

Now you can take WFH to a new level and ignore deli tickets at home

    • +2

most of the time the dispenser doesn't even work

      • +1

The trick is to not shop at Coles

    • +3

I've been at Coles, taken a ticket, waited.. and then a lady just walked up and the person at the counter started serving her

  • +3

You all make me laugh lmao

    • +3

    • +1

      good idea xD

    • +4

How about those people who ask "Hey, can I ask you a question?" Will they need to take two tickets?

  • I'm gonna restrain myself, the smart watch is enough for one day. Looks like a decent product and price though

  • +3

  • Will it hang up after 99?

  • +2

Now you can enjoy your coles deli punishment roleplay.

  • +5

Memories of fighting with my twin brother to be first to grab the ticket before mummy does. I'd always want smiley ham and never got it.

    • +3

Take my virtual smiley ham as a gift for all of your tablet deals.

    • Those are the days :(

      • +1

Brings back childhood memories at the deli.

My local coles/Woolies don’t even have a deli section anymore.

  • +1

Reminds me of that Mr bean episode

  • May be good for the kids to do Deli roleplay at home? :)

BTW, same price for 3 digit, so 1000 tickets?

  • Oh joy!
Ive had this exact one in "Saved for later" for a while as wanted to buy for a gag. Was a bit to much…until now :)

    • +1

You were queuing to buy a queuing device

  • +2

Not sure why but somehow (plus with all the banters 'round here) , it reminds me of Beetlejuice. Thinking 'bout it now makes me cackle with his shrunken head while holding a ticket number screaming in his squeaky voice "what's going on"?

  • What is this item?

  • Confused about the name of the store: cocky shop?

  • JIRA 1.0

    • Atlassians probably never taken one of these dispensers offline for 10 days straight though….
