Great super-light (1.1kg) stable tripod. Bought one from B&H a year or two ago and love it. 142cm max height without a centre column. 58.9cm folded.

A few bucks more? Where? Currently B&H photo is $657 + gst and shipping.
Tripods can be quite expensive to ship.https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00573N8GI/ref=ox_sc_act_imag…
$650 from scamazon including delivery was the very first result in a search.
Most stores will have discounts running or match/discount it.
eBay sellers can be cheaper and negotiated with. It's not a bad price, but it's not far enough off the rrp for me to agree it's a bargain and it's not a cheap product and, imo, a little expensive for what it is at RRP anyway.
If you wanted this specifically and need it now, it's a 'good deal', but if you just want a light tripod and are looking for a bargain, this isn't it. IMO.
Pretty sure the Amazon and B&H prices are in US dollars, so $US650 is around $AUD950. RubberMonkey specifically says the price is in Australian dollars.
@ApuN: Amazon price was in AUD. Delivered.
But you can get a dozen other light, usually carbon fibre tube tripods for less money with heads.
But do those handle abuse, sand and seawater treatment like Feisol. Mine is over 8 years old and still going strong.
Looks like it's in US dollars until you go through checkout.
@Bluemoo7: Yep, carbon and plastic etc. don't rust or react adversely go salt water like steel or aluminium does.
Huge fan of Feisol tripods, they make awesome stuff. I've got a whole bunch of brands and this is towards the top.
Long lasting, very impressed. Just wish the base was a little wider
This isn't much of a deal, they're available new at this price often, right now the rrp at all the US stores is only a few bucks more.
Also, remember for those that are noobs it's $600 + a head, a decent one is around $200+
