I believe this is the cheapest it has been in a long time.

We looked at all brands including the Dyson but couldn't justify the price. Wifey has a GHD straightener already (albeit very old one) and it was between the Platinum+ or Cloud9 in the end after speaking to family and friends with the product as well as our online research lol

Wife drop my 30 years old Philips in the washing basin (Don't ask 😓😓)….
We then looking for a new hair dryer and bascially come down to GHD, Parlux, Panasonic and Dyson.
Got a GHD Helios at the end and she is very happy when everyone of her friends has a Dyson🤔🤔
I think its all upto individual budget, we just can't justify spending double the money for something that is basically doing the same job….
For those who is going to by this, make sure you check the net and compare price. ALso there is Cashback from cashrewards if you buy direct from GHD which is what we did. Have to say their customer services is questionable though.
No trust me, Dyson Air wrap is a massive different compared to these.
I too was skeptical at first but after I got it I can see why the rave about it.
It's so much better than a normal hair straightener.
But understand people have budgets.
But just think of the air wrap the air steamer for airs.
and it doesnt clam your air causing that burnt smell at times.
To start I am not the one who neg you, I don't think people should neg others when they don't understand the product or its out of their budget.
I do want to say this, GHD is a professional hair product company (my wife's research and her peer's comments). Many salon use their products so there must be a reason…
Fact is many of my female friends have Dyson Air wrap and one issue that everyone talk about is the tech is not suitable for people with long and thick hair. It just took too long. Granted I was buying a hair dryer not a straightener so I don't have first hand experience.
I'd definitely take a GlamPalm over any GHD, I'm not affiliated with GlamPalm. Don't take it from me I'm balding. I brought for my wife after looking into reviews for a while. I've got the larger plate version as my wife has long hair. Great unit.
Just wanted to throw it out there but we got some good hubbies on Ozb looking out for their wives. As i mentioned above, doesn't matter on the price or brand.

I got a Dyson air wrap for my mrs and its so much better than these.
Yes expensive but well worth it as the waiting time for them to get ready has dramatically dropped because of it.
