A lot of reviewers rave about the controller. Not having to rely on a phone app makes this a great controller to have.
Yeah it’s cheaper due to the non rc version. Still not as cheap as previous deals.

Where do people fly these things? Unless you have a large property, it seems like you can't legally fly it anywhere else. National parks are no-no, public parks no-no, near the coast are no-nos.
These lightweight ones (under 250g) are usually more relaxed on rules. But for the most part it's just making sure you're not flying into people or recording anyone without their consent and you'll be left alone.
Legally, don't fly over people or vehicles, but there's nothing wrong with coast and public parks if they're not national or state parks and if there's no one in the park.
It is fine to fly in W.A. national parks.
You're allowed to fly over national parks, just not take off or land (without permission)
You can fly on the coast. There are apps that can help you decipher where you can/cannot fly.
just read the CASA rules, they make it very clear and easy to follow, there are lot's of places you can fly.

Fly More combo includes extra batteries, external charger etc over the normal drone package.
Air 2S standard pack is $1700 vs Mini 3 Pro $1119 (you can buy the Fly More kits for each separately)Air2s is a 600g drone (vs 250g) which may affect where/when you can use it as some regions have restrictions or licencing requirements >250g, has a better 5.4k camera (vs 4k) with a 1" sensor (vs 1/1.3") and slightly better obstacle sensing
Otherwise overall pretty similar so I see the Mini 3 Pro as being much better value

Digidirect's in stock means absolutely nothing. I bought a MX Master 3 "in stock" because I had a code and hasnt even shipped for weeks. After being informed of the stock delay, it remains listed as "in stock" on the website

I bought one of these recently. It's my first drone but it's spectacular.
The flight stability, and the 4k video and pictures are unreal.
I'd guess the dedicated remote unit is worth the extra.I ordered the fly more Mini 3 kit for it as well but still waiting on that one.
So bought a high wattage car 12v charger so with only the one battery can recharge over lunch or whatever.Damn…Missed the deal.. always wanted with hand controller version.
