They pulled the listing… jack coming.

Hope they dont cancel orders for those who already bought.

yep, just had a peak and eBay listing now states: "This listing was ended by the seller because there was an error in the listing.
      "

Hopefully some will be lucky if they do honor the purchases made at that price, fingers crossed.

    That's…cheap

Dude people have that kinda money to spend $1100 spare just laying around in their card ?? that this expensive item gets OOS so soon ??

    • Yup. I pre-ordered one a couple of weeks ago, paid $1208. Been briefly testing it out for a few days now, awesome bit of kit. You do realise they aren't just a toy to simply fly around though? I will use mine very occasionally for work, but primarily for recording trips etc. For a high quality camera drone with obstacle avoidance they are great value.

      • If I’m not into video editing then is there much point in getting one?

        • Really only you can decide that, great drone, but possibly overkill if not wanting high quality video to keep, and if just flying for fun you may not need the proximity sensors as you're less likely to fly near stuff I would imagine. Haven't looked at what else is on the market for non-video use, but I'm sure there are better value ones just for flying around.

I can sell you a very lightly used DJI Spark cheap now though. :-P

          • @Maximum64: Can these drones be purchased and activated without handing over real personal ID to DJI or anyone else? I understand a DJI account is needed, but that could simply be an anonymous account right?

Reason I ask is that I'm hearing about "remote ID" from the States, and wasn't sure what the status of that is, or if implemented in other countries.

            • @cerealJay: I haven't fully gone down that rabbit hole as to how fa it might go, but they certainly don't have any requirements to ask for drivers licences etc, so you could set it up as Mr Smith using an anonymous email address.

              • @Maximum64: Ok thanks. I wasn't sure if an internet connection is required when you're out in the field, but looks like it's not. As far as I can tell the drone can be completely offline and never phone home to DJI after the initial setup. I had an Osmo years ago, which was tethered to the phone app, making telemetry almost impossible to avoid.

Credit my friend. I dropped over a $1k on a monitor over a month ago and only unboxxed yesterday…

Easier when you don't pay rent or have a mortgage too.

I bought mine through the recent (slightly more expensive) Allphones deal.

I'm still waiting for the FlyMore kit to arrive (they ran out of stock) but the drone itself is an absolute cracker. I've already used it more than my OG Mavic and Air units combined.

  • You can get this one for a little more but pre order for $1298 https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/374068365594?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mk…

    • +2

They're 1299 on the DJI website.

    • If you can use extra coupons to save then better, otherwise that is essentially the going bricks n mortar pricing atm. Camerpro georges all $1299.

15% gcs at jb ur even better off

  • I'm still waiting for mine to ship from DJI directly. ARGH…
edit.. looks like it finally shipped.. Out of China and delivery by DHL.

Gonna be a bit of a wait I think.. sigh
