      sony wh-1000xm5 are $549, if you don't mind pink and are tossing up between the two, then I'd probably suggest the airpods from what I've seen.

            @[Deactivated]: I would too for that price, but how long are you going to wait for a $200 price drop. Its a shame they're no longer foldable. $550 is just too much for me and the xm4 have terrible mics. I'll just wait out I guess. Not even offering a pre order bonus, forget it.

              @Jaffle: Yeah, not folding sucks. I have XM3's, I don't use them that often but they're great. I don't need the xm5's, just that if they're cheap enough I'll try them out and if they don't, they don't. But at the current price, I think for an extra $50, the airpods out compete them in a lot of ways.

                @[Deactivated]: I've watched plenty of videos recently. The airpods mostly win in all categories except comfort. Most people say they're too heavy for long term use. I'll check them all out at jb when the xm5 are released.

          Xm5 ear pads aren’t even real leather, and frame is plastic, it should be closer to $299rrp imo. There are actual high quality headsets for around the $500 mark - like the max, or even momentum wireless.

        WiFi 6e does the same bandwidth WiFi 6 does, the only benefit it have is extended frequency range, so you are not limited to 5Ghz but also 6Ghz frequency range.

        Unless you are living in City apartments, I don't see the need of having WiFi 6e in Australia.

        Living in sub urban right against a big shopping center, and not much of my neighbor have 5Ghz WiFi yet (I guess it also related to shorter 5Ghz range).

            @ctg: It may or may not be permitted, but doesn't mean you can't use it (illegally?)…. Though I think most Australian who live in suburban won't need it WiFi6e anytime soon, WiFi6 should be just as good for most.

      Been worth it for me. I've had to buy a couple thousand dollars worth of gear recently and the codes for eBay plus members have more than paid for the subscription itself as many established online and physical stores also have eBay stores.

        I’ve found it worth it ever since I’ve had it. Biggest saving was buying a coffee machine for 2.2k where as I’ve never seen it cheaper than 2.5k which the subscription has paid for itself over.
