Does anyone know if normal GPS's like this one can be used for motorcycles or scooters? And if so, if the GPS has a headphones jack, can earphones be plugged in and the GPS be placed in the pocket and voice prompts are listened to through the headphones?

Yes they can be used on motorcycles. As long as you can mount it. Although it won't be waterproof.
Yes you could put it in your pocket and use headphones for voice directions. Although I've always found voice directions a bit dodgy. As it might say "Turn right 500m" and there will be a right turn about 250m away and another 400m away. And you won't know which one it's referring to.
But certainly better than nothing.
And in fact, I might give it a go on my bike. I never used my GPS on the bike because I couldn't mount it.
hmm, yes…rather cheap. Can't wait til prices go down for more reputable branded GPS's though!
