yeah always crosscheck the other bike shops, particularly since bikebug = pushys now.

      • The free shipping with ebay plus helps seal the deal…

        • Pushys only started ebay plus free shipping very recently think.

@8azinga: I'm a bit shocked they sent them express, under 24hrs delivered from QLD to Tassie… The express shipping would have cost more than the $15 mudguards cost me, lol

      • When did that happen? Was great having the two, with bikebug good everyday prices and low shipping and pushys regular free shipping and 15% off sales. Like Wiggle and CRC - much preferred them separate

Same company now as well, so double tricky!

Would be better if they didn't up the price of items just prior to the sale. Must be learning from eBay.

i.e. Park Tool TW-6.2 was $219.99 just prior to the sale, now its $289.99. Even google has the old price still in its results.

    • Probably just on a different sale that finished yesterday instead of price jacking.

Appliancesonline used to be a great store until they raise the price based on the website hits they got. I viewed a cooker and next day I wanted to order it they upped the price. Coincidence? Well it never happened before for many years before. Looks like sellers are playing games nowaday.

Appliancesonline use algorithmic pricing (they have for several years, at least for the past 3 or 4 years). It varies up and down every day, and the only practical way to do that is by software. The old prino app used to support Appliancesonline (that app is completely dead now, unfortunately), but it used to be possible to set alerts for items you wanted, and get notified when the price dropped below a set point. I've asked Price Hipster 2 or 3 times over the years to also support Appliancesonline, and it would be possible to do the same thing with them, but it hasn't made any difference.
