Great little camera, and with the included 16-50mm is versatile enough for on move photography or With the FTZ 2 adapter (buy seperately) you can reuse all your F Lens. Throw away your Full frame DSLR, its a waste of space :-)

If its fits the camera it should work with the adapter. Here is a nice video with a bunch of lens tested.
You may have better luck with Sigma, with lens firmware update. Nikon lenses sure work well.
I don't have those exact lenses but I have used a number of F-Mount lenses with the original (Version 1) FTZ adapter (with a Nikon Z7)
The following all worked flawlessly:
Nikon AF-S 16-35mm f/4G ED VR - Aperture, AE, AF
Nikon AF-S 24-70mm f/2.8G ED - Aperture, AE, AF
Nikon AF-S 70-200mm f/2.8G ED VR II - Aperture, AE, AF
Nikon AF-S 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR - Aperture, AE, AF
Sigma AF 35mm f1.4 DG HSM - Aperture, AE, AF
Sigma AF 85mm f1.4 EX DG HSM - Aperture, AE, AF
Tamron SP AF 90mm F/2.8 Di Macro 272E - Aperture, AE, AF <- surprisingly this insanely old Tamron macro worked perfectly
Samyang 14mm f/2.4 XP - Aperture, AE, MFThe following had some issues:
Sigma AF 15mm f2.8 EX DG FISH EYE DIAGONAL - Aperture, AE, No AF <- no AF with a fisheye isn't generally too much of an issue (just use manual focus)
Laowa 12mm f/2.8 Zero-D - Manual Aperture, AE, MF <- likewise just use the manual Aperture ring
Sigma 50-500mm F4.5-6.3 APO DG OS HSM - Aperture, AE, No AF <- no AF with this lens basically makes it useless (so I sold it)I have however been progressively replacing some older lenses with native Z versions where they are available and it made sense (e.g. 14-30, 24-70, 85/1.8, 20/1.8, 24-200, 24-120/4, etc) (which are in all cases epically much better in all respects - typically sharper, lighter, smaller, less aberations, etc - but also typically pretty expensive)
Wow .. and replacing all those with Z lens will cost a small fortune
Dang
Lol I might just keep shooting with my d600 if I want to use f glass. I have moved to a7 series for years now
Just a heads up that the FTZ mount only fully works with AF-S lenses. The autofocus on the AF-D lenses will not work but metering will still work.
yes, thats because Ds lenses dont have its own focusing motors. Any camera what dont have focusing motors also wont auto focus with these lens
I think its the best looking retro camera, but that’s pretty much it.
Also it wont look as good when a better modern lens is mounted, or a real retro pens via an ugly z lens conversation adapter.
Agreed
Because of it retro style dials make it very well suit for street photography. all the common setting are already visible (or can be set) before you even turn on the camera. Also it take supprising great selfies!
the flip out screen is a nice feature - amazed sony didnt go for it
Anyone comment with first hand experience with the f adapter and how well it goes with third party f mount lenses? I have a tamron 28-70 and 70-200 that I haven’t used in years.
