I was looking for a good deal on pepper and this seems to be the best deal if you want to stock up! Not the lowest at Camelcamelcamel but close enough if you need it. Much cheaper than the regular pepper refills at Coles or Woolworths!

This one was chosen by a chef, it says so on the packet haha
760g of pepper, that's a whole lot
Edit: 1kg Himalayan rock salt $4.50 (min order 2)
I bought the salt for $2.99 1kg no minimum order of 2 at this previous deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/699740
4 bucks at aldi
Now if it was Kampot pepper it'd be a bargain. Where are the peppercorns from?
Thailand
Not great deal. Bought 1kg pack for 13$ from local grocery store.
Where's the bargain?
It's can be found cheaper elsewhere, including Amazon
https://www.amazon.com.au/Pattu-Whole-Black-Pepper-200/dp/B0…It’s not the same product.
I see whole black peppercorns with both. What's the exact difference then?
Not the same brand. You can’t compare homebrand water with Vittel…
Good price per gram. If I didn't have to buy 2x I'd order one.
As OP said, much cheaper than WW or Coles. But I don't need 760g…
It's not really, coles have their home brand version for less per gram
https://shop.coles.com.au/a/national/product/pattu-black-pep…Do you realise it’s not stocked in every Coles? In my local Coles in SA this is not available. My closest supermarket (Coles) is 45km away. That given and for a lot of other country people the Amazon alternative delivered to the door is cheaper. Not everyone is living in the city!
Never seen this brand at any Coles. And I can't even see the page you're linking, so I don't think it's available to me.
Cheaper to here: $3 for 200g.

No reviews about that product on Amazon yet, but thanks. Might be a good alternative.
Having used Kampot, I can tell you there's peppercorn and then there's peppercorn.
Found a quick summary about quality here…
https://chusepepper.com.au/different-kinds-of-peppercorns/#:….
I'm going to guess the Pattu stuff is very low grade.
I use a lot of cracked black pepper and it takes me ages to get through 200g. So I'm happy to pay a couple of dollars more for quality.
Established in 1950 as a small family enterprise, Sabi Foods started manufacturing quality spices and flours, under the name Pattu. The beauty and zealously guarded secret behind the manufacturing of Pattu is a unique combination that blends centuries-old traditional Indian recipes with modern technologies, all quality-packed for consumers.
is it just me or this one seems just fine @ 400g for $6.70 https://shop.coles.com.au/a/national/product/pattu-black-pep…
