Sure it's remastered and looks nice. Don't get me wrong, I love D2 but $41 on sale is disappointing.
D2 would be most hours sunk into any game in my lifetime but agreed not paying $40 for this when I own 3 other versions already, will play when it hits GamePass
I got it when it was about $50 and i can tell you as someone who played the hell out of the original diablo II over the years, it is the best $50 i have spent since the original.
Have played through the game probably 30 times since the start of the year, coop with my brother and heaps of solo too, it is so much fun.
Gave Diablo Immortal a try for about 2 hours, laughed at how shit it was and went back to Diablo 2 Resurrected and finished the game 2 more times with an Assassin and a Druid.
They also recently released a very significant patch 2.4 making considerable, numerous changes to classes, skills, spells, mercenaries, items and more for the first time in 12 years. It has meant a lot of fun experimenting with old skills i used to ignore that are now great to use!

After playing Diablo 3 and now Diablo 2 Resurrected for probably over a thousand hours over the last 10 years i think controller is much more enjoyable way to play diablo. My old man hands definitely enjoy not getting RSI :)
