I got this a few months ago for $129.95 and thought that was good value! Great quality pot!!! Looks like it has dropped in price again.

    I bought a stainless steel pot from target, granted only once, but literally started pitting after the first use. The quality of steel you get is all over the shop.

    Also country of origin matters to some people. Personally I feel we buy enough stuff from china.

  Bought these for my new house about a year about. Use them almost everyday and they have taken all levels of abuse and temperature changes and can recommend. I bought the five piece set (that they don't seem to stock anymore)

  Pros:
  - Hold heat incredibly well
  - Can be thrown into the oven directly from cooktop
  - Build quality is solid (read: heavy), probably would do well as a weapon/self defence article.
  - Made in Italy which is a plus for me (I am the BiFL type) and pure stainless steel
  - The warranty is lifetime for these things (though I am yet to personally claim it)

  Cons
  - Slow to heat up at times
  - Heavy (If you are worried about this try to hold one before buying)

  I have a cheap set of Ikea pans that are incredibly thin if I need to get anything heated up rapidly, but this set is definitely going to last me for a long long time.

  Buy Salad Master. It is good for your health though not so much for your wallet.
