  • Might want to clarify Enfield NSW, not SA or Vic

  • IJK are my favourite PC store around.. can't recommend them highly enough.

    • Just realised this sounds awfully shill like, but I have been buying from them since early 2000s when they were Umart.net.au and have always had very good experiences in terms of shipping and warranty/returns. They're a reliable mob, do same day shipping in Sydney and keep you up to date along the way.

Having dealt with dozens of stores in my time you learn to be rather cautious with some stores but I'm always impressed with IJK.

  • SSD is going to be cheaper and cheaper everyday so I don't really care these sales. The price would probably be normal price very soon.

    • It already is normal. Look on StaticIce and you will see it for as low as 119. I think what we're really holding out for is for the higher end Intel 320 and 520 to drop, currently they are still way above a dollar a gig.

But that won't happen unless Intel announces a price drop, which could be some time away.

      • Yar I've been waiting for the 520's to drop on the 240gb models, but Intel is being stubborn, so I will probably go with a Sammy 830 since you can get the from Amazon for around $259 for a 256!

  • Hi ronaldo…welcome to OzB
Staying on the Storage topic ….
Its been a while we've had a bargain on a 4-bay NAS. The new USB 3.0 models from QNAP/Synology would be a deal clincher for me …
Can you dish something up ?

    • Hp N40L microserver, you can buy that + drives and still be ahead cost wise then a QNAP/Synology unit.

      • Hi Copie, Thanks for the suggestion. I have seen plenty HP threads in the past.
This will be my first NAS. So I need somethign that'll work OOTB Dont wanna muck around with FreeNAS or the like, which are not as refined as other OS, from what I have read .
Plus, it will be fun hooking up a IP cam ……

I'm glad that the coupon code covers both common errors with the spelling of this site
ozbargin and ozbargains combined = ozbargins

    • The prices of vowels eat too far into profit margins during tough economic times, but one does not simply skimp out on coupon codes, so if you're going to save some money on a vowel, you may as well have a consonant take its place.

  • Here is a review - http://benchmarkreviews.com/index.php?option=com_content&tas…

Written almost a year ago. Not sure how relevant.

  • it's still showing as $119 AUD..

    • Coupon Code makes it $113, got to write it in the comments area in the order.
Otherwise just come into store and make a order with sales staff and tell them you saw the special on ozbargain.
