  • some one already posted this deal earlier and it got deleted by mods

    • I did a search and didn't find any so posted this. Odd, why would it get removed…

      • That was me, mod said it ‘didn’t contain a bargain’, guess I should have listed some deals on individual items (I did for the daily deal though…?)

Or maybe they just thought even on sale Koala isn’t a bargain 😂

Honestly I have a Koala and wouldn't buy another type of mattress.

Highly recommend it but my wife says it is too tough. I like the firmness.

    • Great to hear that, thanks for feedback!

I guess worst case return it within 120 days.

Hmm tossing up between the Calm As and Sealy Elevate. I never hear about Sealy anymore but my partner's has lasted 10+ years and still feels great (as you can see, time for a new one)

  • There was a stack of these in different sizes at the Salvos in Hoppers Crossing, Koala donate the "returns" (hopefully clean them too) $100 or so.

  • Anyone bought their modular sofa? Any good?

    • We bought it, it's okay but not worth the full price. Planning to return.

  • Looks like they have raised some of the RRPs - the queen/double cushy sofa bed was 1600/1400 about a month ago, now 2000/1850. After sale discount, prices are still higher than before at 1700/1570….

    • Yep, they did. It was 1648 for the cushy 3-seater last week. But I also remember they said it's on promotion that might have finished last week, may be?

      • Yeah I was looking at buying one of these, annoyed the price went up! From what I remember the three seater used to be 1899 full price, now it’s 1999. The 1600 you saw must have been on promo too.

I bought a queen size Aldi MIAB about 3 years ago for $249. It’s been great and is still like new. I read the reviews but haven’t personally experienced any of the sagging some reviewers mention. The mattress is fine too, lol.
I should also mention that it’s seen some fairly enthusiastic coitus, that which may have left lesser mattresses a smouldering mangled mess.

Koala's selling point used to be that they were Australian made. Now they're imported and just cashing on the assumption they're not just cheap imports.

  • Hi Keen to buy a pillow. Does anyone have a discount code I could use please?

    • Only other discount on top of sale is $50 off if you subscribe to emails, but minimum spend is $750.

You could check back each day and see if the pillow is reduced further on one of their daily deals

      • I was told by their chat representative the $50 off is only for purchases above $1000 after discount. Are you sure it's $750?

        • That’s what it said in the email they sent me!
Although I just read it again and it says the code expires tonight which is weird, I assumed it would be active for the whole sale…

          • @ExtraGuac: Yeh, such a shame. I also had a referral code from a mate that can't be stacked against the sale items.

  • I seemed to have gotten a 10% cashrewards cashback tracked when I ordered a mattress today … Need to wait until the thing turns up
