Save your self $50 and a whole lot of trouble and buy a bike elsewhere. Reid Cycles are thieves. Just search for past deals in here and have a read through the comments before making a purchase.
Do you recommend buying from Kmart?
lol I got cancelled when I firmly said NO last time, so I'm not going to fall for it this time…
We’ve got bikes from Kmart, Target and from Big W (most of which were purchased from deals on here) the one we got from Reid rusted out and went to the dump. The ones from Kmart, Target and Big W are still being used after many years.
The bikes purchased from Kmart, Target and Big W we expected to be cheaply made. When we purchased the bike from Reid, we weren’t expecting such poor customer service or to have our money stolen or to have the bike arrive damaged and soon fall apart.
Might be location also
I've purchased 3 from them. No issues with warranty or service. balcatta
OP's name checks out. $50 is meh, yes Reid are better than Kmart, it's no Giant, Trek etc.
Definitely do your research, but for some people, a bike from reid would be fine.
Still waiting for my free led light from Reid.
Brings the Urban X3 down to 899, nice. But I'd save the bucks and fix my Roam 3 for now until it breaks…
It seems that most of their bikes use freewheel/tourney gear until the price rises significantly.
The Tract 3 with Deore components at $750 looks interesting, but I'd want it at least $100 less before I'd call that a bargain
