Dr. Oetker's frozen pizza is definitely my favorite frozen pizza around, though you do need at least two to get a filling.

I “pimp” the pizza. I get the Mozzarella one blanch brocollini and asparagus. Then combine with mushrooms, roasted capsicum, from jars, and chopped ham. You can heap it high to get a good amount of veggies into you as well. Then cook as normal. You need to ensure the asparagus/brocollini doesn’t make the base soggy.

That will cost a lot more than $3.95 though…

        • cost of a pimp…

Yeah by the time you buy all those ingredients you are better off going to the pizza shop. It kinda defies the point of a cheap frozen pizza. Each to their own.

The way electricity pricing is going, it'll cost you more to cook it.

          You're better off with a $5 Dominos

Where do you find gas these days?

@jv: Do I get a medal for getting a JV reply, or a temp ban for getting him to comment.

              • @jv: Burritos.

It does cost a bit more more but it is, also, a good way to get rid of a few “left over” veggies and the nutritional value will be, much, higher than the usual mass produced pizza stores.

If i was going to that effort I'd probably just grab a plain pizza base and some cheese at the supermarket instead

  • Gluten free version hardly ever on sale and costs more in the first place.

  • Finally Oetker Pizzas after a long time!

Thanks OP. Will stock up on Ristorante Pepperoni. I just find it a bit bizarre that they are made in Canada.
