120GB/Month SIM Only Mobile Plan - $25/Month for 12 Months @ Circles Life (New Signups Only)

122
FINDER120

First time posting:
Was looking for a new plan for myself and stumbled on this deal - provides 100GB/mth for $45/mth, and when you use the code FINDER120 - save $20/mth and gain an additional 20GB/mth. The code only lasts 12months, so just hop off to another plan afterward if you want.

Description: Month to Month (No Lock-in contract) - Optus 4G network

Unfortunately only for new sign-ups, I'm already with circle life - personal experience is that the data is fine, so I'll give it an 8/10. On a side note, does anyone knows any cheap plans for me to switch to?

Happy savings!

That's about $25 too much to have to deal with the mob.

  • I understand that the discount is for 12 months, however is it also a contracted service for the 12 months or can you terminate early? Cheers.

    • G'day mate! I appreciate your interest in Circles.Life! Please be informed that you can schedule the termination of your account for up to 3 months in advance. Circles.Life does not have a lock-in contract. You can request the termination at any time but the termination can only be scheduled and will take effect at the end of the month. Should you have any additional questions, please feel free to visit our FAQs page as the answer you are looking for might be there: https://circlesaustraliasupport.zendesk.com/hc/en-us Cheers!

          • @Averell: $2 a month? What is she getting

            • @mrtee: There was a promotion posted in OzB, $10 down to $2 per month. I'm not sure 5GB or 6GB. Also don't remember whether it will expire (so back to $10) after 6 or 12 months.

    • Hello there! We're currently offering SIM-only plans. Regarding the NBN option, currently, this is something that is not yet available as part of our product offering. Nevertheless, I thank you for bringing this up; rest assured that this additional feature is included in the company's long-term plans so please stay tuned!

I've been with Circles for a year and a half, I haven't had any issues other than when my train stops at goddamn Stanmore station in Sydney 😂 Currently on a $18/m plan, but this is tempting for the extra data.

    • The issue with circles is about still being charged after opting out. There definitely wouldn't be an problems if you stay with it.

    • Hi mate! We appreciate your feedback and we will make sure to do the needed improvement for all the network towers. Cheers!

  • Waiver off???? I think the word you are groping for is "save". Not an uncommon word on this site.

  • Wish they have eSim

  • They did credit check when signed up with them before.. Not sure if its still the case.

    • Credit check for a $25 month to month plan, I certainly wouldn't think so.

      • No, they did one on me. Wasn't made clear to me during sign up so I'm currently waiting on the TIO to step in

        There you go
        https://circlesaustraliasupport.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/article…

We run a credit check on all signups to ensure that our soon-to-be customers have the ability to make the upcoming payments for their Circles.Life plan. A failure can happen if your profile does not pass our partner vendor’s verification measures.

Don't stress too much if it fails, you can try to place an order on our website again after 6 months.

  • Credit check? 😫
I dont want that on my file.

    • -1

Hello there! Not to worry, this is part of our process when applying for a line. Credit checks are done to verify a customer's ability to make monthly bill payments when applying for services. We'd love to give you more infromation about this so please click this link for more information: https://circlesaustraliasupport.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/article…

  • FYI - After monthly quota is exceeded, it's PAYG $0.01/MB. Not a fan.

    • -1

Good day, mate! Please be advised that when you run out of data, don't worry about it! If you want to stay connected, you can:

-Upgrade your plan - if you are on the 5GB, 30GB, 100GB or any of our old plans. Our biggest plan is a whopping 160GB for just $55/mth!
-Add a 3GB for $10 Data Boost - This is a one-off purchase that expires at the end of the month. You can add Data Boosts as many times as you like.
-Do nothing - Once you run out of your plan allocation, data will be charged at pay-as-you-go-rates of $0.01/MB

  • Ah the Hotel California of mobile companies.
Aptly named, you'll spend your life going around in circles dealing with them.

  • Does anyone know, if I port out from circle of life, would I be able to port back in later for the new signup deal or not at a later time?

    • Hey there! Yes, you can definitely port back in. You have to successfully port out first and then, port back in. You can always hop on to our Live Chat service on the website for further assistance. Cheers!

  • Don't fall for it guys I went with circles.life and the worst regret of my life.

I had chosen the option of 100gb but was given a 25gb plan, reached out to support and they advised me that they can't change the plan until 1 month later but well give me extra data to help me next month I get a bill shock of $81 dollar and after many chats and been told they well waive the $81 I get an email saying only they well waive $10 and are refusing to let me speak to a manager.

Better go somewhere else, customer service is the worst and many hidden fees and issues.

Hello mate! I completely understand that this is not a great experience for you. Kindly take note that the service with us is postpaid wherein you can still use the data even if you ran out of base data plan unlike prepaid that will automatically stop if you ran out of data. Please also be noted that you can always hop on our Live Chat: https://www.circles.life/au/help#contact to further assist you with your concern. We'd be happy to turn things around.

The problem is you never mention it and I've already been to over 10 chats on your online system most time you tell me to wait a few hours for an email that never comes every time and when I asked for a manager I was advised that a manager well call me on my number multiple times but it never happens, your company is a scummy one that likes to bill shock and to not provide support to steal money via direct debt that isnt approved.

  • Awesome service, company, speed and the price.. crazy!!

I've read all the issues and concerns with Circles and I have not had a single issue. Our whole family have gone with them and two teenagers have transfered to other services now that their plan deals have expired - expecting they will return soon.

If I had to say one negative, it's that they don't have as good plans for current customers, though they're prices for new customers is so good, it's worth trying them.

    • -1

Wait until you start having problems that need to fix, their customer support is atrocious, they have no common sense, don't understand what you tell them, their English is all over the place and they give you promises like " well email you within xx hours or well waive xx for you" but they never email you and they never follow on their promises. Its been 3 weeks with over 10 chat sessions and 5 emails and they never once followed on their promise to email me or to let me speak to a manager, all their support is a bunch of liers working from overseas who don't give a shit about a customer having issues unless you're the one giving them money instead.

If only I can air their dirty laundry to the public, aka all chat transcripts I saved, their service is 0/10.

      • I'm hearing you, just haven't had any issues with their service or billing.
My two teenagers transferred away and not a single problem.
Though my son has issues with iiNet and they refuse to answer technical issues after many promises, so chances are, he will be returning to Circles.
