Good option if you have a 4WD but no tow bar (for example Suzuki Jimny). Anaconda online page shows low stock but when I called to Anaconda Springvale they had 2 in stock. At the store they didn't show updated price on the price tag but there were no problems at the register.

It attaches through your spare tyre, surely it's not that difficult for you to install it yourself? If it is, you probably should put any bikes on it….
If someone can’t figure out how to fit this they probably shouldn’t even be operating a bicycle let alone a 4x4.
Would this be an issue putting load on the wheel or the rear door hinge? Is the tow bar option better for strength?
It will put extra load on the door hinges but watching multiple youtube videos this doesn't seem to be a problem. My personal opinion is that as long as door stays closed the load will be distributed on the body in addition to hinges and this sounds pretty safe.
Tow bar is definitely a better and much more expensive option. If your car has a tow bar go for tow bar mounted rack. For me I don't have tow bar and don't plan to tow anything so the only purpose of tow bar would be to carry bikes and in this scenario a tire rack looks like a better option.
Thanks picant for sharing your opinion. I think it would be pretty safe also especially if it is with two light weight bikes. I'll look into the roof rack and tow bar mounted options too.
Would it be ok to put on the spare type at the back of a camper trailer, e.g. Jayco eagle?
including installation?
