Interesting… Here's the link for $30 ebay retention (if you try to cancel, you will be prompted with this offer)

ONLY CLICK THIS WITHIN 3 MONTHS OF YOUR EBAY PLUS MEMBERSHIP EXPIRING

      https://www.rsvp.ebay.com.au/rsvp/signup/14889/tqsqBC4iRXk

Also works if you don't have ebay plus, I think it just adds the $30 retention to your account for next time you sign up.

      • +1

Thanks going for the triple stack $20 $30 $50

        • Let us know how it works out - so $30 link first, right?

          • +1

@King Tightarse: I think the $30 or $50 links can be hit in any order. They both just "activate" a promotion against your account that then has an expiry date to utilise it. Last click though is $20, yes

      • When I cancelled without doing this and changed my mind, Ebay customer service said hard luck, there's no way of getting it back. You've let me know there was a simple link to get it!

As a result, I decided not to renew at the time. Months passed and I got drawn in by the shopback $40 offer, which turned out to be a mess. A couple weeks more and I would have been able to get the $30 from this link and this $50 offer

Well, at least my $40 shopback was sorted this morning

        This link worked. Thanks.

However, the link from @regenade failed with the following error message:

Unfortunately, this promotional offer is by invitation only.

        Bummer!

      • Start selling

As a reminder, to use this offer, you need to comply with all its terms. This includes, but is not limited to: heeding the selling limits on your account (they still apply and may prevent you from fully using the offer) and meeting the minimum performance standards for selling on eBay during the duration of this offer. Visit your Seller Dashboard to confirm your account is still eligible for this offer before listing.

      • Thanks. I activated both of them.

      • Did you get $30 gift card?

    • thanks this worked!

    • I am bit confused here, after clicking this link it said that I have accepted the $50 offer. How should I join Ebay plus now ?

      • +1

        Sign up from https://www.ebay.com.au/ebayplus/home

Alternatively, you can try to activate both the $30 and $50, and then sign up via the $20 link if you want to take a gamble.

        • I was not targeted though, will I still get the $50 voucher or would it be a gamble ?

          • @bazingaa: Take screenshot of your promotional offer with the $50.

I was not targetted and got this error:

Unfortunately, this promotional offer is by invitation only.

So sounds like you actually might be? Honestly, signing up to ebay plus has always been a gamble…

  • Thanks OP!

  • Where do you find the voucher code when signed up?

    • +1

Voucher sent out on July 4th, expires 30/09.

  • Ah good, I was waiting for this to sign up. I cancelled my account in February, got the offer in my email.

  • +1

Guess they need to pad out the subscriptions for EOFY. Signed up through $20 voucher link after accepting $50 offer. Confident one doesn't negate the other. Will have a tantrum if it does.

    • +1

Got the $20 voucher after signup. Now wait for the $50 voucher. I can still the offer in my selling dashboard.

      • Same, in addition I have another one "Pay 0% Variable Fees on 5 sales in June, thanks to eBay Plus". Is this a new feature of ebay plus ? I miss the free listing promotions they used to have..

      • Any ideas where the $30 offer hides in your account / dashboard?

  • Got it after following links here then it shows up on page. Screenshot it and paid with credit card incase I need to charge back.

  • +1

I dont think getting both $20 and $50 will happen.

    • Why not? It's activated and should qualify for the $50 after signing up to eBay Plus.

  • Here’s my story - I activated $30 and $50 promotions on one of my dead accounts. Later,I signed up for eBay Plus using $20 promotion. I received $20 coupon straightway to spend on Min $50 purchase.. yet to receive $30 gift card (not sure when). Will wait for $50 coupon to be received on 4th July.

Anyone knows ETA $30 gift card?

  • I didn’t get an email but I was browsing on my eBay app and on the main page, after browsing to the bottom I saw the offer so I’ll apply for it before it ends to maximise

  • if they prioritise PS5 for members then I am in.

  • So wait till you get the $50 voucher before cancelling? I am asking this to avoid being auto renewed as I may forget in a years time. Any tips?

    • +1

You can set a monthly reminder on this deal to remember.

  • Why does it say this under the $50 offer?

    Keep in mind:
To use this offer, you need to meet the minimum performance standards for sellers.

    • I see that too. Maybe if you're a seller it shows up. Not sure. Ive sold one thing recently.

      • Sounds like they can cancel it if you don't sell enough? Strange…

  • This looks like a good deal, but I very rarely buy items at or over 50$ on eBay. Also the terms are fairly restrictive.

    Use of the Voucher
Voucher issue. If you meet all of the Conditions set out in clause 4 above, a Voucher will be issued to your eBay account on or around 4 July 2022.
Voucher expiry. The Voucher is valid from the date of issue until 23:59 (AEST) 30 September 2022 (“Validity Period”).

    in the following categories:
    88433=Other

    11116=Coins

The code is provided to you as an eBay User and the limitations on its usage apply on that basis even though you may have registered a number of different eBay User IDs.

  • They told me my account registered in the US and can’t move me cause I have seller. Any idea how to use these without creating a duplicate eBay account ?

    • oh boy, I was in the same boat. Have all types of issues, starting with unable to activate ebay plus, ending up all the issues with getting money out after their switch from paypal. I spent at least 8 hours over several weeks with their support and they are useless. The only thing they were able to resolve after multiple escalations is their anti-fraud system was overridden, as it was not able to verify my driving license, as DOB was not matching account DOB as it was stored in MM-DD-YYYY format.
And I also cannot close my account - just getting error without details, and their support is useless again.
I just abandoned that account and created new one

  • Should I pay with credit card or Paypal? Which would be easier to cancel?

    • If you use Paypal it will set up a billing agreement which you can cancel so in theory if they tried to charge you again it shouldn't go through.
If you have a Paypal balance you'll be forced to use it first before credit cards though.

    • Make sure you use a intl transaction fee free card.

    • Im thinking pay with a card (so you can do a chargeback if you dont get your $50). Then change the registered card later to a prepaid mastercard with a zero balance (this doable)?

  • +1

I tried the triple stack $20 $30 $50 and the $30 should have showed up by now I think, but hasnt

    • Me too

      • +2

I chickened out knowing how tight and shady ebay is.

  • +1

Thought I'd have a chat with eBay customer service before signing up, this is what they had to say:

I have checked the details and I can see that the $50 voucher promotion is activated on your account and for getting this voucher, you need to signup to ebay plus directly from the homepage and not from the $20 link.

If you use the $20 link, you will only get the $20 voucher and the $50 promotion will not be of use. In simple words, you will get any one voucher either $50 or $20.

I am sharing a direct link for T&C's of $50 voucher which you can read anytime in your leisure time before signing up. And regarding this thing mentioned, there are only two ways to sign up either normally or from the $20 link. If you subscribe normally, the $20 voucher will not be offered but if you subscribe from the $20 link, the voucher $20 will be offered but the $50 promotion will not be.

    https://pages.ebay.com.au/buyer_coupons/2022/plus50annualoff…

Also, If you meet all of the Conditions set out for getting $50 voucher, a Voucher will be issued to your eBay account on or around 4 July 2022.

You will also get $5 monthly vouchers in either of the cases.

I'd still be interested to hear if anyone receives both vouchers, but from this info I highly doubt ebay's going to do that.

    • They didn't state that anywhere on the $50 promo page that you can only go through the home page. lol
      finger crossed : )

  • Any one actually ended up getting $50 voucher ?

and anyone got $50 voucher +$20 voucher or $30 Gift card ?

    • Voucher sent out on July 4th, expires 30/09.

No one should have received the $50 yet…

  • Would it work if the $50 voucher doesn't show up on main page, but was able to activate the offer from the link https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/12229359/redir ?

    • Who knows. The banner just redirects to the url you linked for activation. I had the banner either way. Yolo either make $50 or not at least I got an extra $5 from the spend $15.

      $55 profit? = $50 voucher + $30 giftcard + $20 voucher + $5 voucher (min $15 spend).

      • Definitely got the $20 voucher, and the $5 voucher too,
But the $5 voucher cannot be stacked with $20 or any other voucher in same transaction and also has a $15 minimum spend requirement.

Got the chat person to confirm I would get $50 voucher before signing up, so hopefully works out in my favor, and took screenshots of all activation page etc. too.

Although from my past experience, the $30 GC doesn't really come out and nor is eBay ever willing to help with that $30 GC, (unless you had actually spent $49 via auto subscription renewal (from existing eBay plus membership)

This case should be $20 (worst case and if so I'd demand refund from eBay)

or else $20 + $50 (In case I'd simply decide to buy some dust collecting garbage)

  • Which banks / cards are best for chargebacks (my choice is Citi, AMEX, HSBC)?

    • Deal has already expired…

      • Hmm, before the 30th…hmmm. Used to companies publishing the last date of the promo. I already activated it, but no idea to see if it it still appears active somewhere.

        • I mean the deal's been here for like 3 weeks already lol

I wouldn't risk signing up now, unlikely you'll get the voucher plus sounds like you're looking to do a chargeback before even applying lol

          • +1

@CodeXD: It's fine to sign up today. That is just how ebay words these promotions.

            It says-
Offer Period. The offer will only be available from 00:00 (AEST) on 6 June 2022 until 23:59 (AEST) on 30 June 2022

      • +1

I just had the voucher offer presented to me on the home page and it activated just fine.

  • +1

    Expires tonight, not last night

  • Got my voucher today - but only $20. Escalating with CSR and will update.

    • +1

Voucher sent out on July 4th

      • Hmm I got a $20 one today though…Is that a separate one?

        • +1

          Yes it is.

There were 3 deals that people tried to stack (unsure if you did tho).

$30/$50 - activate through a link to add promo to your account

$20 - click through from banner

          • @CodeXD: Thanks! I also activated the $50 one. Do you think I should sit tight and see if I got the $50 one too?

            • +2

@plasmapuff: Yes, if you are eligible for the $50 it will be sent out on 4th July. No point asking CSR about it now

          • @CodeXD: Did you get $30 voucher?
I didn't, and have spoken to customer service and their manager, they said i will get my $30 next year after i continue my ebay plus, lol.

I still have not get my $50 voucher, i will contact the customer service again, if their still make any excuse, i will do chargeback

            • @Barbequemilk: How to do a chargeback.i pad thrust PayPal?

              • @Iluvfreebies-freeDel: Credit card bank,
I was chat with ebay customer service for 2 hour about my $30 voucher, they still insisted that i am not eligible for the voucher and i dont think they will hand out $50 voucher.

            • @Barbequemilk: I signed up to eBay plus before the $30 promo

        • It has got a minimum spend of $200

        • +1

The $20 one should be instantly available after signing up. Are you sure you only got it today?

    • +3

Are you sure the $20 voucher received today wasn't from this separate deal? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/706250

  • So after signing up the promo appeared in the promotions section of my eBay, 1st of July comes around and it's not visible any more. I reckon there might be some fun in store on Monday :D

    • +1

I'll be in the queue with you

      • -1

Not visible is normal since it expired. nothing to indicate not getting the voucher

        • It being eBay is enough to not indicate not getting the voucher :D previous vouchers have had a link to expired vouchers. I’m sure all will be fine but I’m not going to be surprised if it’s not for many people.

    • Yup I'll be cringing on eBay too,my thoughts say i won't get it automatically, and will need to get it fixed either manually or by initiating a chargeback

      • Yup nothing received yet

        • Did you get $30 voucher from ebay? I am not, and i'm still waiting for my $50 voucher, i will do chargeback today, if they didn't deliver $50 voucher today.

          • +1

@Barbequemilk: nope i mentioned the $30 at a lot of places, it really is something that you will never get eBay to convince that eBay should honor it to you, unless you

renewed your subscription by auto renewal.

I only got $20 voucher that's all, Fighting for $50 voucher now

  • +2

Anyone received their voucher yet? I haven't received anything :(

    • Nothing here although I also did the $20 voucher thing as well so I might be up for a battle.

      • +1

        same boat here

      • +1

Everyone please don't contact eBay about the $20 or $30 vouchers until someone confirms that they have processed the $50 vouchers.

        • +1

The $20 voucher should have been instant when you signed up. It appeared for me as soon as I paid.

$30 is for renewing ebay plus membership. So not sure if applicable for this round of renewal or whether you need to wait for next.

          • @CodeXD: Yep, waiting for someone to confirm that they received $50 ebay voucher as I still haven’t yet.

  • +1

Looking the in account transactions the payment for ebay plus just went through on 3 Jul 2022.
