Was just browsing JB Hifi and came across this, it's been around/lower than this price before but recently I've only seen it a fair bit higher. Tried the demo and thought it was alright, should be good fun for the price. You could use your perks voucher to get this to $9 in-store/C&C too.

Keep the beat and keep Hyrule from meeting certain doom
Format: Nintendo Switch
Genre: Action & Adventure
Rating: PG

I highly recommend this game for the price especially if you're a Zelda fan.

I tried the demo and I would not recommend it if you have no rhythm.

You can turn off the rhythm mode for easier gameplay (no need to match the music, enemies move only when you move).
I played in this mode exclusively and had an absolute blast.

        • I'll have to give that a try as I bought this on sale and shelved it as I realised I was too white.

      • Its the last game on my switch

There's a demo available through the e-store. It's not a game for everybody since it's a rhythm game, but if you like Zelda games (particularly the older ones like Link's Awakening) I would suggest trying the demo first. I really enjoyed it. Loved the music.

  • This one not include the dlc right?

    • -1

      unfortunately no

      • +2

Yes it does, I have the physical version and can confirm it includes the dlc

        • Sorry you are correct.

i was thinking of another game.

        • Well, in that case, I think I should grab it. Even I know I won't be able to play it anytime soon.

Gah I paid like $59 for this on release.
    Here is my OzB membership

I paid 45 in an early sale and still haven't played it :P

      • -1

Why does it take time to play since we paid the money!

    • Have you played it?

      • +4

Of course not, it's on the pile of shame

    $9 with perks voucher

Look I have to say I played this and didn't enjoy it all that much. Main issues I had:

    • Pretty tough
    • No real 'puzzles' like other Zelda games
    • Lots of gameplay repetition - it felt like none of the additional characters/weapons/etc really added that much to the game
    • Not a great use of the Zelda IP, I feel like it was shoehorned quite a bit to fit this style of game, it just seemed like a cash grab?

Having said that I understand some people love it - just my take.

If people were looking for a similar Zelda-style game with a cool mechanic I would highly recommend Minit

  • Got this and the Avicii game forthe 2 for $30
Used the perks code to bring it down to $20

    • +1

      Wasn’t the Avicii game $5?
Would’ve been $24 for the 2 then $14 after perks.

  • It's currently in the 2 for $30 range. Just grabbed a couple now for gifts
