Agreed. This is a pretty standard price per kg for whey protein. I'd be waiting until you can get it sub $30/kg.
Can you link where you're seeing that for Bulk Nutrients for WPI? I'm seeing about $40/kg even at 5kg.
He must be talking about BN wpc.
Correct WPC is the best bang for your buck of you aren't competing or counting every macro!
@cristobaljamesy: I think if you're looking for the per gram of protein value, WPI and WPC come out similar
@eddybaha: Please show me the maths if that's the case..
When BN was $99 for 5kg for all those years it was pretty clear but at their current price model I haven't crunched the numbers.
@cristobaljamesy: So looking at BN, WPC is $35/kg vs WPI which is $43/kg. So about 23% more for WPI. However WPI has about 15% more protein per serve looking at the nutrition panels on the website (varies slightly by flavor). So really you're looking at only 8% more per gram of protein for WPI. IMO the 8% premium is worth it because it means less wasted calories on the extra carbs and fats in WPC (assuming you're drinking protein shakes for protein and not other macros).
@eddybaha: WPC has around 10% less protein than WPI for a similar flavour, for example vanilla that usually has the least amount of additives.
Back when I did the maths, BN were selling their WPI for about a 40% premium over the 5kg batch of WPC I'd buy on the monthly.
The equation may have since changed as they are using locally sourced WPC which has jacked up the price considerably!
bought 2 earlier today, tubs are also down to ~ $80
pre-workout is also on sale 65 serves at $43.87 with S&S

Just drink coffee its cheaper save that money to buy protein :)
Unsure if their formulas have changed but ON was notorious with having massive amount of fillers in their mix and paying body builder.com a lot of money to push their products to no.1.
I'll stick with bulk nutrients and the occasional chemist warehouse sales on their musashi.
Yep, ON is the MacDonald's of protein powders
Amino-Z price will price match and beat by 1% if anyone is interested in earning points with them.
Pure Product Australia Whey Protein Isolate, 4- kilograms, Vanilla 4 kilograms https://amzn.asia/d/fOppDma
This has been my go-to for a while - 90% WPI.
4kg for 90.95 > 81.85 (subscribe and save 10% disc) > 76.94 paid with giftcards balance (4% disc)
Works out to be $19.23/kg 90% WPI - personally prefer the taste to bulk nutrients and although one review has tanked the rating, I've never had issues with quality (no idea how pebbles got into the bag of that one unlucky customer)
Where are you getting it for that price? Amazon has it for $139 plus shipping for 4kg.
It's currently out of stock. So you're only seeing the direct from seller price.
The seller frequently forgets to restock their Amazon inventory. But it appears every week or so as sold by pure product fulfilled by Amazon AU (prime delivery)
Last time I ordered was 3 weeks ago at the above listed price.
Cheers man, I'll keep my eye out!
They mentioned independently lab tested but when asked for results they refused. PP is notorious for inflating protein content and were caught out during lab test by BN.
that's because they spike it with milk powder lol
hit up the bulk nutrients protein testing guys they can send you an independent lab result….
das it!
do you have the rest of that list?
I'm curious how all the other proteins stacked up
@Suspect420: No. I specifically asked for PP only…
Anyone wamt to buy 5kg impact whey flavorless? I took one scoop and did not suit me. I'll go with ON as all time favorite.
Thier protein is much lower on the labdoor testing score. Stopped after reading that several years ago and switched to myprotein as it was ranked second. But after recent incidence of myprotein sending super old stock, i switched completely to Aminoz.
I recently went for Hydrolysed Whey Protein Isolate as it is better from a digestion POV. Got 2.5 for approx $84 from eBay. Their BCAA is 7+ which is higher than Iso dymatize iso 100 and so many other improvements. I ordered the one here https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/303644902219
unflavoured so might mix it with some other drink. Almost negligible sugar. Keen to see a better recommendation.
few posts up man these pure product guys are dodgy af…!
About the same price as Bulk Nutrients for 5kg of individual flavours.
