  • This is just the new price?

    • Shows a price adjustment starting today on their website and I saw it last night at closing at the Hawthorn store.

  • This is their normal price I think?

Got this for $99 two years ago…good little BBQ ;)

    everyday's price

    • I'm pretty sure this is the same one i got at home. Bought it years ago for roughly that price.

    • Given expons comment below, would you like to confirm your comment? Not saying its wrong, but we dont have any data to work on here, and it would be nice for people to know. Thanks

        revoked

      • Sorry, was writing this then got called away for a meeting.

I bought a similar looking thing from BBQ's galore. If i remember correctly (more than 5 years ago), i didn't spend (much) more than $100 on it - got some money from relo's for my birthday.

I am not home at the moment, can't check the brand/model… and knowing how much i clean it, it would surprise me if it is still there/visible.

Sorry guys! A good deal anyway though! First brand new BBQ that I have seen in Australia for under $100 with good reviews! :)

  • Normal price is $149, this is the HOODED version

    • are you sure - their website gIves the same 4 burner bbq as $146, so would be unusual to be higher

Strangely, 4-burner BBQs are cheaper than 2-3 burner equivalents. I had a mate whinging about this recently when he was looking for one for his balcony! ;)

  • Haven't been able to find any informed-sounding reviews for this one. Anyone been able to find what the heat output of this model is?

  • I bought this exact BBQ last year for $99. Pretty sure it's normal price.

It's a good little unit and easily seperated for taking away on camping trips for example. It seems to have heat spots (hotter/cooler areas on the plate) and my plate actually rusted out pretty early so I use alfoil which isn't as bad as it sounds, no fuss cleaning it anymore. All in all good for $99 but if you spend more you'll get more.
