Do you actually know what you're talking about? This monitor is dedicated for a different market. You probably don't even know what color gamut and Adobe RGB is, much less know why this costs $499.
And you certainly can't make a judgment until LG's IPS screens come out.
I have one of these and it's beautiful. I'm constantly told what a great monitor I have, and I think it's a good price.

Its pretty bad of a bargin. Considering LG is making a new generation of IPS screens thats coming in 2012-H2 and this is aint THAT much better than the U2410M which cost 280 on special.
