    • Do they still SMS links? When I tried to get them to price match the Kirby deal from Harvey Norman a few weeks ago they kept referring me to a store where I would have to go and pick up. Not willing to SMS me a link for an online order.

      • Yep. Did it last week and got online cart and add perks coupon to it for C&C.

        • I’m looking to get them to price match a NSW retailer (who only send to NSW) but I’m in Vic. Will they somehow know or lock me to an address with the online link?

          • @RalphEddie: Well they ask for your local stores to put the order through so It might not work?

        • do they accept giftcard via the hotline price match link?

          • @unknown-entity: It was just a cart with a overwritten price if I remember properly nothing like Harvey Norman where the discount is applied as a coupon.

            • @Sheng: Oh, I just recall previously the jb price match checkout looks a bit different to their usual online store - can’t recall if you could use giftcards there

              • @unknown-entity: Cart so payment is up to your choice so giftcard might work but like online sales its only 1 giftcard redemption.

[edit: here is the order as you can see "negotiated price".

  • Picked up the Panasonic UB820 4K BLU RAY player for $475 delivered. Cheers

  • Shame about dji. Argh

    • I added the DJI Mini 2 4K Drone Fly More Combo to the cart to see if the code worked with it and it did..

      • I just realised as I read your post, their price is too high anyhow :( we've seen it @ $780 in the last month.

Thanks op, managed to grab the Sony WH-1000XM4 for $240 at JB Hifi C&C :)

    • How?

I priced match with JB for $300 from https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/701863, and bought $200 dollars using @WookieMonster's 10% gift card to get $20 back, and used op's coupon to get 10% off $300. Then bought it using https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/701088 to get $10 cashback for $50 spent :)

        • +11

          Ozbargain License approved.

        • Can you please explain how you price matched with jb for $300 as i and others would possibly like to try and do the same, for example was it in-store or over the phone with jb hotline and how did you apply the 92frenzy code, tia

          • +2

@Golly1153: I price matched JB with https://doddsby.com/product/sony-wh-1000xm4-wireless-noise-c… for $300. You can do this by chatting with JB online, they will send you a direct link through sms, then you can apply your codes, and stack your gift cards together.

            • +1

@Hinokami Kagura: Thanks for that…I was considering doing the same.
Live chat? or just submit a request?

              • +2

@alterego13: All good, live chat was faster for me imo

                • @Hinokami Kagura: Just a quick question - how do you link someones comment/name in orange if you want to reply to someones comment? As it doesn’t always work for me every time

                  • @Golly1153: Just type your message after selecting 'reply' and it does it automatically, but I've found it to be hit and miss.

Ah, I've now just read ALL your comment … :)

            • @Hinokami Kagura: Is there live chat for jb hi fi?

              • @OhNoUShiz: Did you find it? Trying to do the same…

                • @phatmike128: I am currently in the same boat as everyone here, any updates?

                  • @Goliegosh: Try submitting a request instead, both should work the same, its the question mark at the bottom right hand side, go through the options to send the request

                    • @Hinokami Kagura: Ah perfect! Live Chat is now a button that pops up. Thanks mate!

                      • @Goliegosh: Live chat are not pricing matching doddsby (for me anyway) as they are not an authourised Australian seller

                        • @GalacticBacon: yeah they use the its below cost price for me reason…

                        • @GalacticBacon: Same…. Pretty brutal.. just said 'I won't be price matching that today….and ended the chat' I had some products to ask about too… !! Seems they're under the pump!

                        • +1

@GalacticBacon: I got JB to price match Doddsby for an LG C1 65" this morning. Was anticipating a hard rejection but the salesperson was more than willing to price match, including the free delivery. I feel it depends on what store you call. Maybe call other stores?

                • @phatmike128: No. Reading from below, it seems like submitting a request through the question mark icon.

    When does this expire?

    • +3

It's written on both the banner and on the deal itself, 26 May.

  • Anyone know if the 4k Pixar collection is worth it?

edit: Got 2 for $269. Not bad.

I have just had a purchase cancelled by JB I used a ultimate home gift card. Anyone know what name and billing address should I put on the purchase I used my own but they cancelled it.

    • I'm having the same problem! It keeps saying the verification process has failed. I can't buy anything :/

      • +1

        Start new order

Use ultimate home as name. And billing address is yours

    • Start new order

Use ultimate home as name. And billing address is yours

    • I think you need to register the card under your name first if it's visa type card

  • TCL C735 98 inch, $7995 to $5995 to $5395.50. if u have bought any GC in the past several months, it will be another 10% off.

  • Active tried the new version of the mx vertical mouse? Been using one for years at work and it's great. Occasionally it malfunctions and goes dead if I plug in a higher powered USB C cable (5w) but comes good again when left with the normal cable.

Basically could use another one at home, haven't seen many deals yet.
Edit: JB hifi doesn't have the new one but a quick search is it's a less premium (but cheaper) model. Either way they aren't competitive unless price matching anyway so the 10% is a bit pointless.

    Hisense 65U7G $1195 -10% = $1075.5 (-10% egift card) = $967.95

  • Need a dishwasher.

Literally none available for delivery to Brisbane for at least 3 weeks….

    • dishwashers are not life critical .. you can wait 3 weeks easily

      • If it was for me, yes. But it's for tenants and was hoping to save a couple of dollars.

        • +2

Try sharing the saving with them, I’m sure they would be happy to wait. If you are saving $200, offering $100 rent credit for a 3 week wait is not a bad idea.

          • @maataa0b: Good idea.

It's a $900 Bosch unit which I want to last, so hopefully they see the benefit in waiting.

    • Check out appliancesonline. Free delivery, price matching, and good service. Though in my experience they're almost always the cheapest anyway

      • eBay plus is another good option and price protection.

Hey guys just to let you know the 10% does not stack with price matches.
I work in the JB direct call centre in Perth and we have all been briefed.

    • +1

Does it stack with the 30% off trade in bonus for s22 ultra?

      • Interested too. I'm on the edge of pulling the trigger on it.

      • Not sure but I doubt it as they're both coupons and the 10% is not supposed to work with other coupons

    • But we can still pay with gift cards right?

      • +2

JB gift cards yes. Most 3rd party gift cards don't work online

    • Thank you for joining us at ozb

    • Who would have thought.
You have to remember this is ozbargain, everyone wants 200% off!

  • This was posted elsewhere but since deleted as price matches aren't deals but nonetheless might be useful for someone.

    Canon EOS M50 Mk II
    $999 @ JB Hi-Fi
    $898 @ Amazon AU

    • Get JB to Price match to $898.
    • Apply 92FRENZY for further 10% off = $808.20
    • (Optional) use discounted gift cards for further savings

Edit: YMMV, apparently you can't stack the coupon and a price match but Hikonami was successful

    • +1

I can also confirm combining a price match and 10% discount worked for me. Was able to price match an LG C1 55" at Appliance Central and then take 10% off in the cart to get it to $1863.

  • +3

Picked up the Sonos beam Gen 2 (white) for $568 thanks to 10% ultimate gift card and 10% frenzy code.
The ultimate cards didn't work for me in JB checkout, so I added the ultimate card to my Samsung pay app and went instore at JB and purchased a gift card.
Then was able to order online using JB gift card instead.
Thanks OP and the various people commenting on this method, very much appreciated!

    • +2

Same here, Ultimate Visa card can't work online checkout, so I went to JB store to buy jabra 85t, but they can't add 10% off cause the code only work online. I have to use Ultimate card to buy JB gift card then check out online.

Do not tell staff you use Ultimate card or they maybe not allow u to buy. Just tap and go.

      • +3

Correct I just took a gift card to the counter, told them how much value to put on it, then tapped my phone to pay.
No need to mention that I was using an ultimate card to pay.

        • That was first time I used Ultimate Visa card, and I asked the staff whether I can buy JB gift card using an Ultimate card. The staff didn't allow, spent 15 min to negotiate with them until supervisor agreed to let me try 'tap phone'. No problems at all, tap and go.

I don't know maybe buy more Ultimate visa card for EOFY?

  • When does the code expire? Midnight tomorrow?

    • +3

According to online chat, yes, 11:59pm on 26 May. I asked because last time their deal ended midnight the day before…

  • Anyone used this ultimate home gift card to buy good on the good guys online? will it work? please let me know.

    • Maybe or maybe not. Not working for me on JB online. But you can add to wallet then tap the phone in store to buy store gift card, then buy online.

      • Oh

  • better off just getting a jb commercial contact

  • Hi just bought a mobile from JB last week so missed out on this 10% discount so is there a way I can return mobile and buy back again with 10% discount?

Or do they give 10% now and I don't return phone as well?

    • +1

You should be fine for JB to refund a small credit .. just call and ask.. there's an approx 2 week period if they drop the price

      • Does it make a difference if its a voucher and not an actual price drop? Has anyone tried?

        • Sorry .. I only did it with a few months ago with the Pixel 6 Pro ..
          1. got my $250 or $300 trade-in bonus and bought P6P
          2. price dropped the next day by about $200 (direct price drop not a coupon)
          3. went back to JB and got $200 credit

          something like that anyway.

          • @matt-ozb: Thanks all but just this morning JB hi-fi increased price of the mobile itself so 10% discount won't make any changes… Baxxrds.. :(

    • If nothing works. Buy new phone cheaper and return with old invoice.

  • +3

Picked up a LG C1 55” for delivery $1,601.90 after all the discounts!

    • May I ask how? JB has it listed for $2,495

      • +4

It was a bit of work but worth it-

Price matched the C1 with Applicances online @ $1,990.00.Note - Price has changed since then.
Used this deal to get a further 10% off to bring it down to $1,791.00
Purchased discounted gift cards at 10% and paid $1,611.90 for these
Finally this coupon to get a further $10 off bringing the cost price to me $1,601.90

        • +1

Impressive discount mastery 🙇🏻‍♂️ Purchased online or in-store? Curious as didn’t realise JB was honouring the 10% off for in-store purchases.

          • +1

@Goondocker: They sent a link to my phone and proceeded with click and collect.

  • -2

It looks like JB hi-fi call centre is all over ozbargain so we all n ed to be extra smart when talking about bargain on JB hi-fi website.

Please share code for discount but do not I repeat do not share product that is super cheap by adding discount.

Last night bastxxxrds increased price of mobile by 100% on product I wanted to buy so even with discount that product is no longer worth buying so please don't share product or item that is cheaper on JB hi-fi.

    Thanks

    • JB change sales every Thursday so I suspect you just got unlucky

  • +1

    Code is still validated. :D

  • Price Match is usually better than 10% off.
