how is bag environmentally friendly? are they just the same ones you can get at safeway for a buck?
I would think so. The idea is that you can re-used the bag instead of asking for plastic bags which are not environmental friendly.
Probably not gonna get them so didn't bother signing up for it. For most of the American-based freebies, they don't mention that they don't ship internationally but they actually don't. And fair enough I suppose, paying $20 to deliver a free bag isn't the best way to do business.
On a different note, I have never bought any green bags but I've got tons at home. I don't take them out when I go shopping because I need the plastic bags to put in my bins. If I took my green bags, I would've to purchase actual rubbish bags, which is the same deal environmentally compared to plastic bags.
