    Have you checked that the subtitles apply to the versions we're getting?

    The subtitles are labelled:

    Hostage 1996, &

    Stealing Beauty 2005 & 2002 (from memory), resp

    The subtitles seem to need a sync delay because of the promo bit at the start of the main movie file. Anyone figured out how much precisely. I tried doing it in VLC 2.0 but it doesn't seem to want to play. Yet to try in XBMC.

  How do you play it? There are some 136 files in the Stealing Beauty zip package. The biggest files are the MP4 videos but they have random strings as file names. The rest seem to be support files. Have you actually played it? Maybe it requires a key or a special platform to play?

  Stealing Beauty is a -beautiful- movie (mostly), & the scenery & atmosphere combine to become a great reminder of what we [sometimes] seem to be losing in our "imaginary eTech" worlds… Most will -love- it!

  (Also, you get quite a few of -promo- videos in the same RAR file, so, those who can get it from another source may be saving some download data by doing so.)

  ---

  By contrast, [the post-9-11] Hostage is best left unplayed, at least by those who are sensitive to all the levels of beauty in Stealing Beauty.

  If you -must- watch it… watch it first, then maybe [try to] -recover- from it (preferably, after a spell or nap?) with the dose of Life (albeit artistic) to be found in the more -alive- 'Beauty film.

  For anyone wondering about speeds, I've got a speedtest.net download rating of around 9 Mbps at the moment, and the download is sustatining around 85 kBps.
