Found rtn to Darwin from Melbourne $18 each way. Thursday night out back early Monday morning. Will do for a quick weekend of exploring.

I scored a return trip from SYD to DRW for $72.80, which includes 20 kg of checked in luggage both ways.
However, it is in the wet season.
This will be my first trip to DRW.
Brisbane to Perth is particularly good value at $18 for 5hrs 25mins of flying time.

As at the time of this post there is only one $18 seat left on that route, on 28 Feb. I think the flights to Perth and Darwin will be the first to sell out.
How much C02 can I generate per dollar?
