    A sink for your sink

    • +2

Too late for me.. my sink is sunk.

    • +1

People in the UK do this, it's so stupid.

  • +3

    Great for camping! Purchased.

Would the collapsible Kmart one below be better?

      • The drains in them leak 90% of the time, unfortunately, also there is no Kmart near me so I would have to pay to ship. Double also, I hate Kmart.

        • +2

Did you just get a dud? It's very highly rated and only one review from a number of pages says that

          • @Jackson: It wasn't me, it was my brother-in-law who had one. However, it does look like the current model has a different drain/plug system so maybe they have fixed that problem with them.

You hate Kmart!? What self-respecting OzBargainer hates Kmart?**
I'm guessing not someone shopping for a family with kids…?

You've never bought seriously cheaper priced appliances (toaster, kettle, vacuum cleaners), basic sport supplies, kitchen utensils/cutlery/crockery, bathroom supplies, kids clothes / shoes, toys (toys, and more toys and baby supplies etc), and even storage, basic furniture, etc cheaper than anywhere else in a bricks and mortar store when you just need to get something rather than shop online and wait??

Target I can probably understand, not so much hate as just meh, but Kmart?! really?
My goodness, I'm rattled at the suggestion. It's like saying I hate the sky or money or something! It is just an essential staple of life!

**(Excluding the stupid centralised check-outs, everyone can hate on those)

            @MrFrugalSpend:

            You hate Kmart!?

I am impartial, Kmart doesn't do anything for me. Quarterly earnings reports suggest interest in Kmart is waning.

Don't get me started on those fake "Kmart Mum Hack" news articles on news.com.au, 7 News etc.

          • +1

@MrFrugalSpend: Kmart is just full of the cheapest, nastiest things around.
To me, being an ozbargainer is about getting top-quality items for a steal, not cheap items for what they are worth.

Everything I've ever purchased from Kmart has either died or not done what it's supposed to.

There are exceptions of course, if you want items for a dress-up party as a one-time thing or if you are just buying a bucket for a fishing trip because you left yours at home, that kind of thing. But would never buy anything I expect to last from Kmart.

Kmart is just Go-Lo for mums who think they have style :P

What a interesting item i will use it as a nice Chamber pot potty under my bed.

    • You can only pee in it if your name is CheapOJoseph

      • Close enough

        • I hope you aren't saying that after using your 'nice chamber pot!'

    • Why wouldn't you use something just like a container or bucket without a drain, you have to reach into that to release it - gross!
Who would want a toilet with the flush button at the bottom of the water!?

      • Don't judge me

    • Good to see you here, Grandpa Joe

      thanks mate, that's much better!

  • Damn missed again…. $38 in the cart.

Super cheap auto has a collapsible one for $14.99 ($11.99 recent special). I also much prefer this rubber quality vs the Kmart one

Zero confidence they're manufactured in different locations with diff materials but +1 for saving $4

    • +1

$4 cheaper than the Kmart one, which I was already sold on. Thanks for posting (both of you).

    • Thanks. This is better than Kmart. Who says procrastinating is bad 😀

  • What's the point of a drain hole, isn't it simpler to just tip it out

    • I agree with this owning one. Would much rather save the inch of space just tipping it out. Also would need to clean out the plughole occasionally. But haven't found anything else foldable in this size

    • +2

It will be heavy for some people when it's full of water.

  • -1

More plastic to fill the earth .

    • +2

Can't blame the consumer really, blame the assholes who refuse to regulate and the oil companies who agitate for their perpetual profit.

      • +2

If people didn't buy the things then manufacturers wouldn't make them.

        • +2

Chicken or the egg, but in this case, it's easier for 1 company that supplies millions to alter their behaviour than to reach out to millions of consumers to change theirs. The marketing campaign would have to be monumental in size and would generate its own carbon footprint.

        • +1

If people didn't buy the things

          Penetrating insight.

    • +1

Why are people giving u negative, do they don't care about climate change and pollution :c sad

      • yay and nay opinions , thx

  • now it's -46% $38.00

  • +1

FYI, these are sold to British immigrants, who, for some reason require it inside their sink to wash dishes.

The British also commonly had carpet and clothes washing machines in their kitchens, so I've given up trying to understand.
