Build looks meh. I'd buy Sennheiser momentum or pxc for similar sound signature.
The pic may not have been shot well. M&D are admired for their design and build quality. Sound wise Sennheiser should be good.
But, I donno why their pricing is so high.
these would smash any pair of sennies on build quality
so mine just arrived - did not realise these came with both on-ear and over-ear (just) pads (which are also magnetised - even easier than Grados to swap). The over-ears give a more open and balanced sound sig, whereas I'm finding the on-ears to be a bit muddled in the low-mid region (would probably suit bass-heavy stuff though). USB-C charging and optional 3.5mm is also nice. Solid buy, cheers OP.
