Zoku Coca-Cola Slushy Maker with Metal Pocket Straw $19.95 Delivered @ AZAU

811

The next Monday deal from AZAU kicking off around 12pm AEST. This is a Coca-Cola branded slushy maker that makes frozen drinks in as little as 7 minutes and a Coca-Cola branded metal reusable straw that can be extended from 4 inches to 9 inches.

Simply freeze the inner core for 8+ hours, remove and pour a chilled beverage (Coca-Cola, Farmers Union, Juice etc) into the cup and wait for it to freeze into a slushie. I've owned this one for about 6 years now and it still works really well. I can get about 5-6 slushies made without needing to freeze it again.

Free shipping and 1 per customer.

Isn't it easier to just send your wife to Macca's for a frozen coke?

    • +3

If you can go to your Maccas and back in 5 minutes.

      • +14

My local Macca's is 4 minutes away according to the Maps app. If you drive four times faster on the way back, then that's just five minutes all up.

        • +2

You didn't take into account drive-through time

        • +16

          Sounds like prime real estate.

        • are u saying clear is your wife?

    • +9

This is cheaper than having a wife.

    • Or Frozen Mountain Dew from KFC 🤤

    versatile ;)

  • +15

    4 inches to 9 inches

In other words, soft to hard

    • its always hard (metal). in this case, its only about the length ;)

    • +1

      lol

  • +2

    Great bargain m thanks 😊

    • +25

Welp better throw out all my pans and pots. They're not 'surgical grade' and boiled to 500 degrees.

      • +2

If we give the benefit of the doubt and say that’s 500 degrees F, the atmospheric pressure required is around 50x. Going to need some nuclear type container to hold that pressure and temperature to boil water at that temp.

        • +4

Use lead instead of water. Quite easy to get a vat up to 500°C and it imparts a delicious sweetness to everything you dip.

    • I'm pretty sure you will not need to heat it high, putting it in boiling water for a few minutes would be sufficient. Only spores can survive that heat, but they can't form new bacteria right away.

    • +7

If only we had some kind of chemical that we could use to help clean away any harmful bacteria… Guess I better get the boys in the lab on it. Think we’ll call it straw washing liquid!

    • +9

Rookie. Obviously you need ionizing radiation to properly sterilise them to be transplant safe.

      • +2

So chuck it in the microwave?

    • +13

Waiting on the autoclave deal so I can finally use stainless steel utensils

      • +1

Use the special liquid mentioned and boil it at 500 degrees instead.

    • +3

Bacteria also grow naturally in my mouth, throat, stomach etc. Have you ever eaten cheese or yogurt? Did you boil it at 500C first?

    • +3

No need, just kill them with coke..

      Oh look, frozen coke maker.

  • +2

I'm tipping this is a more a souvenir buy for the brand and straw instead of the actual use? I was trying to see the capacity and I'm dubious if you can even empty a single can into it fully. There's one pic showing a "237ml" bottle.

    • Won't fit a whole can. You can transfer to a cup quite easily.

  • -2

    Zegeta brand is better imo

    • +33

There's your problem. It's not just a cup. Then again you'd pay $400 for a watch when you can get one for $2 at Kmart and they both tell the time 😜

      • +12

        Ahahahahahahahahahahaha fouiyohhhh

      • +9

        Literally destroyed the poor guy

        • +7

I know I'm going to regret this, but how?
It's still on sale for about $400.. I'm sure some watches appreciate in price but not a cheap (by watch standards) $400 Seiko watch.

    • +1

Harrolds made me think of a shop run by that old bloke from Neighbours. I wouldn't shop there either

  • Currently it shows "out of stock" so does that mean tomorrow they have more stock around 11:30am if the price is being reduced to $19.95?

    • -1

Correct. They'll add stock around 11:30ish when it goes live.

  • +1

i will just buy the $1 one at hungry jacks, mcdonald's, and servos. then i get to throw away my cup when i'm done.

    • +1

If you go to Maccas make sure to recycle the paper cup!

      • +1

well duh, who doesn't recycle? i guess psychopaths and serial killers.

        • +2

nah i'm sure most psychopaths would still recycle

      • Pretty sure australia doesn’t recycle those cups. They’re wax lined to hold liquid. The only exception might be 7-11’s coffee cup recycling program, but I haven’t researched into whether they actually do recycle or simply reuse for another purpose.

      • Surely it’s plastic coated and can’t be recycled. Unless you go to 7-Eleven or something.

        • Straws then

  • +2

Update: Deal will kick off at 12pm AEST.

  • +1

What was the original country these came from/marketed in to now be dumped on Aussie shores? Seems like a strange product and Coke don’t normally do these type of sales as opposed to marketing promotion?

  • What's so special about these? Is there some coolant liquid that makes it the liquid freeze quicker?

  • +1
    • Doesn't look like it includes the metal straw though

  • +1

Amazon has it for the same price and available now.

    • How long did payment take? Mine is taking a while.
Edit: Just came back as confirmed.

      • +2

it did take maybe 30 seconds, i was a bit worried that the site was going to crash, but it went through

  • +3

order stuck on processing but has been paid through paypal.

    • same thing for me…
Edit: scratch that, after 5+ minutes it went through

    Payment not going through

    • Working for me.. foooyouuuiiooh

  • Same issues as above

  • +2

Got one, thanks Op. PayPal payment took a while to process but worked in the end.

    • Same as well. Took 5 minutes for the payment to process through

  • +1

It takes about 1-2 mins to get payment processed until order is confirmed.

  • -1

    Very, very poor experience, sorry.

Tried to pay 3 times, with different payment methods. Stuck on processing payment each time.

Been charged 3 times with no order confirmation haiyaaaa

      Been charged 3 times

      Nice loophole lol.

    • Happens every deal. You just gotta wait out and it'll confirm.

  • Took about 10 minutes to process the order but it went through eventually…

  • +1

Payment was stuck on processing for 10 minutes and then a server error occurred.

"Server error: Unable to contact the Odoo server.
    Please wait…"

    • Same here, but I got the error after 20 mins. Also was charged.

  • Stuck on payment screen, but PayPal gone through

  • -1

Was billed 2 times no reply from Live Chat. 2nd transaction has now been Disputed to UP Bank.

    • It is a public holiday so probably best to wait for a working business day to ask them? Probably resolve quicker than a bank dispute.

      • Okay I will wait for AZAU support.

  • +1

Didn't work with paypal, some permission error….. Gonna give it a miss.

    • Coz its marked OOS.

    • Just ordered it with paypal… smooth ass

  • I got 2 errors on the website but invoices eventually came through for both. Very frustrating

Edit: They processed cancellation for the first order

  • +1

I managed to get one order confirmation after almost 10 minutes but Paypal got charged twice.

  • +3

I'm not going to try to reorder even though it seems i didn't get one, but they've had the same issue since the last deal. Was charged twice and the charges definitely go through all the way even when it doesn't work. They did refund after i contacted them about it, but I won't be buying from them again unless they solve their issues, not worth the hassle.

Edit: maybe they've changed something, I just got an invoice even though the payment page errored out. I'll still probably skip ordering from them again until they fix their issues.

  • +2

    Charged twice. Nice

  • Hmm… OOS, more like there is stock, but not this bundle 🤔

Great marketing…I'll be leaving Adelaide soon 😉

    • I'll be leaving Adelaide soon

      Safe travel!

I will going out now to BreadTop to buy those twin sausages bread.

    • They allocated 150 for this sale.
