      You don't know how they were stored, temperature fluctuations could make it go off earlier.

    Hate to kind-of agree with @jv on anything - but sugar-free anything doesn't hold up well in the container. Close to 'best before' is probably OK, but disappointment risk seems to increase pretty quickly.

      Not from a taste perspective…

      I've found Coke Zero sugar to start having a less sweet and more sour taste 1 to 2 months before the best before date.
