    They're both great. I consider myself fortunate to enjoy and appreciate two of the best 2020 games.

    But if I'm choosing one for story, depth of character, and straying away from video game clichés, I ain't choosing Tsushima.

      Based on fan voting result alone, Ghost of Tsushima was GOTY. However, critics voting result accounts for 90%, whereas the fan voting result only accounts for 10%.

      I get why most critics voted for TLOU2. However, it was too obvious Naughty Dog knew they won before the actual show (it was Covid and the show was pre-recorded).

      I don't get why some TLOU2 fans have to trash other people who don't feel TLOU2 is the best. There is no game that's going to get 100% like from everyone.

      I’d personally give GOTY 2020 to Doom Eternal

      LOU2 was a pretty good game. I think that it and Tsushima are different enough in tone that you could make a equally valid case for either.

          @Xwahash: but people next door (in the ps4 non-direct cut version post) commented the ps4 version has got a free patch for 60fps on ps5 and the graphically the differnce between ps4 vesion and ps5 version is minimal on a ps5. I would assume it is the same case with the direct-cut version. or not?

        Is that currently the case? Target accidentally put a PS4 disc in my PS5 copy during christmas and I had to return it to avoid the paid upgrade.

        $ony is not willing to do that. Any first party game that has a remastered PS5 version (i.e. it supports at least the new faster ssd loading) is not free. It is ironic FF7 Remake gets a free PS5 upgrade.

        There is a 60fps patch for the PS4 version (so you can play PS5 in 60fps).

  I'm playing Horizon: Forbidden West at the moment, and whenever I kill a fox, it makes the same sounds as the foxes from Tsushima
