  • Anyone used this before

    • There are some Lytmi Neo kit reviews at youtube

  • where's the deal?

  • The lack of HDR/DV kills it imo
Edit: I take that back - it does support it, just less saturated
Very good value then - tempted to buy instead and see how it compares to Govee immersion

  • Op any deal on Pro version?

    • No deal on Pro version for now

  • So is the Neo 2.0 now the 'pro' version? Seems the pop version is the same base unit but with a different (less bright?) RGB light strip instead hence the lower price?

  • Before I bite the bullet, could someone list a few alternatives for PC ambient light strips besides the hue play bars?

    • Yeelight bar pro and razer sync

  • I really want something like this, but not sure what the best option is for me. I have a high end Samsung HDR FALD display, I watch lots of 4K HDR media, and play 4K HDR games on the current consoles.

Don’t buy Lytmi. I got one with serious delays. Have a look at this topic https://www.reddit.com/r/dreamscreentv/comments/s3s82l/do_no…

    • Hi, sorry for the issue you had with Lytmi product. Would you please PM me your order number? Or you can reach Lytmi support team at [email protected].

Wow! That’s a price drop…paid AUD$200 3 months ago. Had a few hiccups (read comments on previous OzBargain deals) but it’s now working fine. A bit of a delay though and it doesn’t support Atmos, so need a pricey HDMI splitter.

Ordered from one of the other deals and personally pretty disappointed in the product.
Ordered 65inch as that's my TV size. Even measured it before hand to make sure.
If you put the clips on the edge of the TV all round the LED strips end up being too short. By about 10cm each, not a small amount. So I had to put the double sided taped clips all spaced about an inch and a half in from the edge.
I later saw they changed the kit description to say it was for 60" and below.
You can use them without the app, if you put the starts at the lower right corner.
But there was a noticeable quarter second lag on the lights. If there is a scene/picture change the lights can be quite distracting, as it's not in sync.
I thought it might be because I hasn't used the app to configure them. But I can't even get that to work either.
Fair warning, the app says it requires GPS, Bluetooth, and local network access. Giving it all that I still couldn't get it to connect with the lights, and gave up after about 3 hours of fiddling around.
I used the lights to watch about 2 hours of YouTube, and a couple of TV episodes before disconnecting them due to not being able to concentrate with the sync lag.
It's still on my tv a few months later, but now half of the double sided tape has failed and the strips are falling off…

    • I bought this as well, I also get a slight light sync delay but not 250ms. Maybe 10-20ms delay. Not distracting for my old eyes.

My set up is xbox/shield TV to Onkyo receiver to Lytmi to LG OLED 65" B8.

To get the device connected to wifi, my phone had to be on a 2.4GHz band. I just moved my phone out of the 5.0GHz range (I have google wifi and Android phone, no option to force which band to use)

For the sizing, it is a tight fit for 65". Maybe try moving the mounting brackets closer inside.

      Issues I had are:
The provided double-sided tape was rubbished. Fell off after a week. Replaced them all with 3M commander Velcro strips

Newer Disney+ releases use a weird Dolby vision codecs, so the lights just display sync-ed pink/purple hue.

The cables between lights and Lytmi box are fairly short. I had to hace the device stuck on the back of the TV.

The device gets a bit warm, so not sure about longevity of it 😀

  • Ah after reading all the comments..I'm bit on the edge. Should I get it or pass?

    As YouTube reviews says otherwise
