    Not a deal… it's more like advertising here~

    Theres aways a catch…

My definition of free is I get something for nothing without giving you anything in return. In this case we are giving you our credit card information for a month of free trial.

If this offer is for a month free trial of online streaming and in return you get our email address I'd sign up in no time :)

This trial is only free if you cancel & return all DVD within the month.

I think thats pretty dodgy to advertise it as "free".

sorry rep I know this is your first post, but its not "free" :(

Of course, you can call up and cancel anytime. No dramas.

    • They give you a few days to return them all. It is free. I thought negs weren't allowed here.

  • Couple of things:
    1) You still need a credit card, so they can charge you if you misplace/loose/scratch a disc.
    2) You can sign up anyutime up until 8th March 2013.

Can the rep confirm above ?

    • Of course you should be charged if you scratch or misplace/lose a disc.

We did the month trial and then took a discounted few extra months, very easy and simple.

Good deal as it always has been!

    Looks dodgy to me because:
    (i) Fails to meet the deal posting guideline to "Always link directly to the specific product page."
That is, the supplied link (http://auspo.st/Ka1lv6) is not linking directly to the endpoint
    https://secure.quickflix.com.au/Secure/Austpost/Signup/Step1…
(ii) The use of the "auspo.st" domain seems to be trying to look a bit like "auspost.com.au", plus the post goes and name checks "Australia Post" for some credibility.
Makes me wonder if the OP is scamming referral revenue without disclosing it.

Update: Going for my first ever neg because just found on
    http://www.ozbargain.com.au/wiki/help:deal_posting_guideline…
"Please make sure that you put enough declaration in your post about the affiliate link."

    • Canard, it isn't an affiliate link. The OP is an employee of Australia Post, auspo.st is owned by Australian Post (Confirmed via FB). This is a Quickflix deal in conjunction with Australia Post similar to the ones from Paypal/Quickflix in the past. The originally posted link pointed to a picture from I'm guessing their website or catalogue which showed their promotion.

  • What's bad about this? You can use paypal and cancel your payment subscription through them… and never heard of making a new e-mail address before?

    No deal.

This is so not a deal… especially when i can get paid money via moneybackco or via other rewards companies for exactly the same deal.

    • Is moneybackco like trialpay?

      • moneybackco is now called starthere. It is a cashback program. Not sure what trialpay is?

  • How about give us an update with what's happening with your TGG gift card promotion.

seriously, how many times has this "deal" been posted?

  • Quickflix are such scammers

    • It's just someone trying to make a quick buck by affiliate links, not Quickflix.

  • Hi there
I work for AusPost and posted this deal, it is indeed an affiliate offer.
And it is correct that at the end of the free trial period you will automatically be placed on a post-trial subscription plan - unless you cancel your subscription and return all discs undamaged at the end of the free trial period.
    Cheers
