The lowest price ever, only limited qty.

    It was 349 last deal?

That's correct. Unfortunately 3camels doesn't always pick up a price during the interval they check at, so their price graph doesn't always reflect the lowest price ever.

    Wired backhaul?

  • +1

The TP-Link website says it has 3 gigabit ports and can do wired back haul.

  • Need deco X60 deal

    • agreed, at $399 like end of last year would be tops

      • missed that, they are $100 off on amazon, still $595

        • At $200 difference from a price not even 6 months old it’s not worth considering haha

  • I have 5 of these around my house, speeds they hold are nearly as good as the ethernet connected to my PC.

    • do you reckon wired backhaul is required? I could probably facilitate it..but a lot of stuffing around.

  • My Orbis are 6 years old now and i have no idea if it’s worth upgrading or not.

  • shows up as $585 now

    • 2+pack is $279

    • Available again… But only 1 unit

    • It has restored more, $399 now!

X55 currently has the higher discount, however most of the the hardware specs on the X20 and even m5 appear superior.
    - Double Antennas
    - Double CPU Power
    - Includes the homecare subscription (paid option on the X55)

X55 seems to have a 3rd ethernet port.
Yes, the marketing claims X55 has higher bandwidth, but really doubt this in the real word. Not that I would recommend the Google Nest (no bridge mode, quite limited setup), it's WiFi5 but out performs both of these anyway.

Would love to see a review comparing the X20 vs X55 and not the X60 which is a substantial upgrade over both!!

Does anyone see a case on why to purchase the X55 over the X20? Heck even the M5 looks to out perform the X55 for WiFi5 devices.

    • I've read a few reviews and they mention the need to pay for the homecare subscription with the X55, but I can't see any reference to this on the tp link website. I nearly bought the X55, but I don't want to pay a subscription, and admittedly for my setup 4 ethernet ports is more useful

      • Update: The X20 now being sold is v1.2, like the X55 this includes HomeSafe BASIC.
ie: The bult-in Anti-Virus requires a PAID subscription. Really poor form.

        • Update: The latest X20 is now v4 has been reduced to Dual CPU only
