Free Pepsi Max Taste Challenge at Home Kit Delivered from Pepsi Max

6591

First 20,000 claims will receive a Pepsi Max Taste Challenge at Home Kit. No idea how many kits are left.

From what I could tell in a video on one side you have a coke and on other side is a Pepsi Max.

Mod 8/4 630am: Updated the deal to direct link to redeem, as the link on the home page is no longer present, it is unclear if these entries will be honoured however.

Has this been exhausted? I only see a video.

    • +1

      Ozbargained!

      • -2

I don't even like Pepsi. But my inner OzBargain couldn't resist the word "free". FOMO

    • +1

      Same issue here

  • After extensive testing
They both taste crap until you acquire the taste.
Pepsi Max taste takes longer to acquire.
You can't have both tastes acquired at the same time, so one will always taste wrong.
Conclusion = Pepsi Max is much cheaper.

  • +2

for anyone else still just seeing the video, the direct link is here - https://www.pepsimaxtastechallenge.com.au/redeem-kit

      Legend .. still works ?

      • +1

If it arrives, then you know it worked. Otherwise, they will just claim they exceeded 20K entries.

        • +1

          Fingers crossed!

        • They are up to 100K + entries easy by now .
Just another data grab scam .
Its been shared across multiple social media sites as well .

          • @popsiee:

            Just another data grab scam

Not if you provide them with fake names, and burner mobile numbers. OzBargain 101.

Seriously, what do you think they will do with the data? Sell them on the dark net? The data is unverified.

            • +1

              @DoctorCalculon: I feel sorry for the guy that has 0400 000 000

              • +5

@Ozbargainasaurus: In the past we were testing an app with 0411 111 111 as a test mobile number, and it turned out it belonged to a real person. He wasn't the least bit amused.

            • @DoctorCalculon: I know that and I do that .
But of course a certain % use correct details .

  • +3

What a great first post 👏🏽😅

  • +1

Rarely drink softdrink these days but do have a preference for Pepsi Max. The taste of coke now days reminds me of some cheap no name cola.

  • +1

    Thanks for sharing

  • -5

Waste of time nothing on the links leads to an actually entry to the challenge I call fraud!

    • +2

lol worked for everyone else 😅

    • Almost 8 years on the site and you don't know about things getting ozbargained…

  • +1

Direct link now shows a blank page with "ACCESS DENIED" on title. I guess the quota has been exhausted.

  • +3

this is sponsored by Dentists Australia

    • +4

9 out of 10 Dentists agree it will rot your teeth

      • +5

The 10th dentist was Dr. Pepper.

  • +2

    Anyone received the kit yet?

    • +3

      NOPE

    • +4

      Nope, not yet.

    • Nup

    • +3

Came here to check the comments if anyone's got it. I haven't got it yet too.

    • Nada!

Probably lost in the mail by now.

  • Still nothing… not even a confirmation email yet.

    • Yup same. I wonder if they will ship them out in July because that’s when the deal is meant to end.

      • +1

Looks like another slimy data grab and I paid 5 mins of my time .
How long it stay up it was fairly obvious .

        • I used a kogan $1 number and my xxx.ozb email.

    • Someone should have got it a week ago if its not BS :)
I think I know what it is .

  • +1

I haven't received it, guess it's not coming.

  • Have not received mine but just saw on Tiktok the deal is back on.

Seems another. 20000 up for grabs.

  • Didn't see this original post, seen now, registered.

Happy to be a Pepsi Max ambassador if they need me.

  • +1

    I never received anything.

    • +2

      Don't think anyone here has.

For those who haven't seen, this is what the kit looks like.

      • That nice lady at the beginning of the video needs to rethink her wardrobe choice.

  • Still nothing!!!
Sounds like a bloody scam, no one here has reported receiving the kit in the mail…

  • Is it possible that Pepsi Max Taste Challenge has silently blacklisted ozbargain.com.au as a HTTP referrer?
So, if you clicked on the "Go to Deal" link to enter, the entry would be bucketed in the rejected list from the get go.

I admit I must have made the same lazy mistake rather than copy and paste the URL into an incognito tab.

  • +1

Nothing received yet, nor a confirmation email

  • Deal is a complete scam, never received anything

    • I got mine today, you jumped the gun

  • +10

Might be coming now? Something from Conversion Live Pty Ltd just showed up in my AusPost app and Googling 'Conversion Live Pepsi' brings up a 2019 article

    • +1

Yep me too, came here wondering if it was this when I saw Conversion Group was a marketing company who do sampling.

    • +3

I got one also, but it has another persons name on my address. A little weird.

      • +1

I just checked mine; correctly addressed to me

        • Yeah, I'd say they screwed mine up. Do I need to return to sender?

          • +2

@shaneb: Depends on how worried you are about your personal details I guess

            • +2

@kerfuffle: It was probably more the legal aspect of opening a parcel without my name on it, but I guess the other person will probably do the same.

      • +3

I have exactly the same thing show up today in my Australia Post app, same organisation, my address, wrong name

        • +4

Oh yeah mine is addressed to someone else too.

        • +1

Okay, pretty poor of them. If your name is close to your username, then the mixed up name on mine, doesn't relate to you.

        • +3

Yep mines been addressed to me with a completely different name. Still gonna open it. Looks like most peoples will probably have someone else’s name. Must be a database issue.

          • +6

@DXDeus: Lol. Wrong name mine is addressed too. Somebody had used Isaac Deeznuts.

At least you can rely on Ozbargain comments to track down what the hell is being sent!

        • Yeah I have another random name too

          • +1

@b3au: Yep. Wrong name on mine too.

        • Yeah wrong name on mine too. You had one job CONVERSION LIVE PTY LTD

          • @HairyChickens: Even better for us, if they can't get our names right but we still get the product.

If someone get a package meant for Doctor Calculon, please feel free to thank me here. :)

      • Thanks for posting. I've been wondering what the heck this thing to addressed to someone I don't know was.

      • I have received mine today with a wrong name too. My housemate received his with a wrong name and missing unit number.

    • +2

Yes, that would be it. I got a parcel notification from the same company and spent the last hour trying to work out what that could possibly be until I remembered this.

      • same, thought i won someone, only to be let down:(

  • +6

    Email Received:

    Your Pepsi Max Taste Challenge
at Home kit is on its way!

The parcel will say it’s coming from Conversion Live.
Keep an eye out for it, we appreciate your patience.
We hope you enjoy taking the Pepsi Max Taste Challenge at Home!

    • +1

Got that same email just now. Moments after working out what the Conversion Live parcel was.

  • Same email just received with another one from AusPost parcel tracking 👍

  • +1

received confirmation, also received aus post email… and it's the wrong name correct address, so if anyone named gemma applied through here… I'm getting yours apparently

    • Received the same wrong name (Luke Tahere ) correct address .

  • Just got shipping info sent to my email, fortunately my details are correct. Hoping to get it within the week.

  • Received the max email, but not Aus post. Makes it look suspect whether I'll get the parcel or not.

  • Received the same email, correct address but someone else's name!

  • got the email

  • Lmao at least it's only names and not someone else's address as well. Anyone remember the Bostik free shirts?

    @PissLUR I still haven't leaked your address yet ;)

  • +4

Coke would have gotten the names correct.

  • I just received a confirmation email with a tracking number from Aust post. Should arrive by Monday the 23rd

  • +1

same here. got an email saying it will be delivered by auspost. the address is correct but name is wrong.

  • Mine is addressed to Chad Shearer.

    • Your lucky…… mines Isaac Deeznuts ……. See TikTok!

  • yas! got the email today. we put incorrect names on but valid address. hope pick up will plan well..

  • +1

Suddenly got an AusPost email saying there is a parcel delivery coming…got it today and realise is the Pepsi MAX taste challenge!

    • what is in the kit?

  • one of our orders parcel arrived today. but name is a different to one used to sign up. the postmen reject the pick up. seems need to expect a lot of mistake on their post orders. our actual one might delivered to elsewhere…

    • +1

This is going to cost pepsi a motza in shipping

    • Yes this will probably happen a lot. How can they stuff up like this?
Seems unbelievable for a marketing company

      • confirmed with AP that the sender mixed up the names

      • +3

Sorted the name column in the spreadsheet independently of the address column.

      • Pretty easy to sort names and addresses incorrectly in excel.

  • What are our options?

Do we lie and say our name is xyz and hope postie doesn't ask for verification for the free Pepsi?

"xyz isn't available and asked me to pick it up"?

Even if you explained the situation to them, they have every right to refuse you the parcel despite living in the same address.

    • +5

My usual Aus. Post delivery guy said he doesn't care about the name he will just deliver it to my address.

      • Yeah I’m sure most won’t care unless they’re sending them registered post or something.

Living in a group house, one of us often goes to our local collection place and they handover parcels for multiple names.

      • +1

@chrisie When you next see your delivery guy could you ask him to start delivering to my area? I promise I will leave some icy cold beer outside for him.

    • +1

If they took it back to the post office, collecting it should only need ID for the same address.
