At this price I'd expect at least a 1tb ssd.

    • Its expensive at $2.4k dispite the savings.

I cannot wait till amd and qualcomm/intel start making ARM laptops to compete with M1 macs. Then I will splurge the cash 💸 💰

  • So compared to something like the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 Pro that goes for around $1500, this has a better processor performance wise (12th Gen Intel vs 5800H), a 75wh battery compared to 61wh, pen support, faster RAM, and 4K display? Am I missing something and does that really add another $1000 in value?

It's DDR5 ram vs DDR4 on the slim 7 pro. PCIE 4.0 SSD vs PCIE 3.0 on the slim 7 pro along with all the rest of the upgrades you mentioned. This would definitely command that premium given you're paying for the absolute latest tech

      • Guess so, cheers

  • The 2 in 1s are always about 800-1k more

Personally I'd rather just carry a tablet but for business it's probably good

    Any thoughts

    • After owning one of these for 3 years, I believe I folded it for tablet / presentation use maybe 5 times.

      • Lol yeah I have x1 carbon and nearly bought the yoga so I could do presentation but realistically never needed it

If I'm going to different companies or doing presentations weekly maybe it's worth it otherwise not really

        • Even then, meeting rooms always have a hookup to a big screen these days. And folding it back makes little difference to the viability.

          • @a22andrew: So I'll go back to standard think pad on my next purchase, I think.

  • Where's the warranty and battery deal
    Couldn't find it

        Sealed Battery Replacement
Obtain a single battery replacement for any covered battery that fails to meet minimum performance standards.

I bought this for $2350 last week. Cash reward also traceked at $95. It a great piece of equipment.

    • How you get so cheapie

    • did you get the 4k model? how's the battery life mate?

      • my machine arrived in 3 days from order to regional town. Battery life from full charge without tweaking and normal use around 9 hours :)

Loving it so far - but dangit setting up a new laptop is tedious!

        • See if you can do an image of your old last time

          • @AussieMark: sorry not sure what you mean

            • @chonkymonky: You can download software to make an 'image' or backup of your laptop

It's normally an ISO file or something
