Circles.life 50GB/Month Post-Paid Plan for $15/Month (6 Months)

152
50GBPTC

Saw this ad in the PTC Tech Hub store while walking around Karrinyup today. Not as good as the previous 55GB deals but still something.

You will need to add the 30GB/Month plan to your basket and then apply the 50GBPTC code. Adds an extra 20GB/Month + $10 off per month for 6 months.

Not a good reputation around here

Not good, but only amongst a very small and very vocal minority that like to be very negative.

I've been with them for a long time at $29 a month or something with zero issues whatsoever. What's the problem people are having?

      • +1

Staying with them is not the problem, leaving them is the issue. They make it very difficult to leave and the when you think you've cancelled being with them, they continue to charge you.

        • +3

Not my experience, multiple times; very easy to leave, no ongoing billing issues. Very easy to join too.

        • +2

I left and came running back with my tail between my legs.
No problems leaving and they welcomed me back without issues.

Hi Lizard! We appreciate you sharing your feedback regarding our port out/termination process. You just have to make sure you'll be able to provide your account number (including the LW) and mention that your service with us is under postpaid service and rest assured that you won't have issues with porting out. Also, it would be best to process this before the current month ends since as soon as the new month started, you'll already be charged for the whole month.

Iv been with them for a year now. They are using an Optus line, so if i do get issues albeit minor i blame it on optus.
$28 for 100gb is a bargain. Works for me

    • I'm with them and love the service, and especially the price.

$10 per month, all calls and SMS's in Australia included plus 5gb data, and voicemail.

    • Are they on the telstra network?
Thanks. I realised they are on optus.

They will try to rip you off on every opportunity.
Personal experience - overcharged for data use over the limit at a ridiculous rate without any warning or opportunity to purchase an additional package.
Terrible customer service and always predatory behavior toward their customer
    BEWARE!

    • So you went over your data limit?

      • -1

The data "limits" are not limited so you could easily go over without noticing

    • Doesn't surprise me. The only reason a network reseller would use "post-paid" is to rip off its customers.

      Terrible reviews : https://www.productreview.com.au/listings/circleslife

  • What is the situation with excess data?

    • +1

They will warn you repeatedly as you approach various limits. E.g. 50%.

Once you run out of your plan allocation, data will be charged at pay-as-you-go-rates of $0.01/MB

      No roll over of data

      • -2

NO, they won't warn you in a proper manner - there will be email sent that is worded in such a way that Gmail gets it into the spam folder and there you go.
And you CANNOT limit the data on the plan, it is designed in such a way that you will overuse it at some point

        • +1

That's your fault for using Gmail, or perhaps not using it properly to mitigate Gmail problems/issues …. can't you easily go to the spam folder and mark the email as not spam?

@affinity: Your comment does look like it comes from a very much "Associated" person… Umm.

NO, there were LATE SMSs (when the overrun has happened).

My point is - I suggested a sensible resolution as their charge was 80 bucks on an 8$ plan (monthly plan). They did not want it, they just wanted to rip the customer off.
That is all this company is about. There plenty of negative comments in other threads.

            • @ALesha77: They do send SMS, there are plans with way more data than anybody should need (unless it was your only source for data usage). Seems like you are telling lies here. Definitely not associated myself, just never seen problems with Circles.Life and only see negatives that no-one seems to be able to prove or actually show they aren't just being malicious against the company.

        • Besides, surely they send you SMS? I haven't had a plan that would get me anywhere near close to the limit for a long time now — use most of my data from a fixed NBN connection, not much mobile data, but I have so much available mobile data that I never have to worry about using WiFi at home for the mobile.

        • Hi Alesha77! Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding our service and please know that this is not what Circles.Life would want you to experience. We do send out notifications not only be email but we do send text messages as well as app notifications in order to make sure that our customers are fully aware where they at regarding their data usage.

          • @CirclesLifeAU: Lie and lie again. I can post here all my comms with your support who demonstrated NO Support and NO interest in resolving the issue. Do you REALLY want this?

  • used them for 5 months..only leaving as their offer expired

    • Either choose an upgrade option or once you've transfered to another company, do the comeback run to Circles and get the most current offer for new customers. Hard to beat them.

      • How long does it take for them to "release" your number after you've ported out and want to come back to them again? I remember it took at least a month a year ago and lot of chatting with customer service. Not sure what it's like these days

    • Thank you for being part of our family! We often get this feedback from our customers which is why we came up with an option now that you can get a new deal applied on your account once your current offer expires. You just have to contact us on the month that your deal is going to expire so that we can check whatever deal we can give you from there.

  • This is discrimination as I read on their site that they will have equal offers/upgrades for new and current customers.

    Offer expires 1st June OP.

Been with Circles for over 2 years now and very happy with their service! Jumped on $28/m 100GB deal when it was available, and the plan has saved me more than a couple times during the pandemic.

  • Used data over many months. have been trying to use below the monthly data cap of 15gig every month. On one month i went over and they want me to pay excessive data charges without giving me notice that i have gone over in advance. I would not recommend you go with them.
